Countess Seaton was born in the House of Darcey, she had one older brother and one younger sister. Their family wasn't influential or rich, they were just the local noble household in the countryside.

The late king and queen were still mourning the death of their oldest son, and at least wished their second child would spend the rest of his life with the partner he chose.
