Kapitel 44: Let's Settle This

The roof of the adventurers' guild was blown off.

"You've gotta be shitting me…" I whispered out in pure anger taking over me.

"Couldn't you at least let me fucking climax!?" I yelled out curses as we stopped what we were doing and clothed ourselves without wasting any time.

"Stay hidden and where there's a lot of people, Lira, I gotta check this out by myself." She simply nodded and left the room.

The explosion had torn apart the roof, scattering debris everywhere. Anger and frustration pulsed through my veins, threatening to consume me as I recalled my intimate time numerous times with each passing second.

The cool night air nipping at my skin gave me a reality check, I quickly sent strength through my muscles and jumped on the pillars of the roof, scanning the city around.

"Tsk," I clicked my tongue. It's as if a shadowy puppeteer is reveled in toying with my life, orchestrating disruptions whenever I think that I can catch a breath.
