Kapitel 183: Chapter 183:- Zombies

As they ventured further into the labyrinth's depths, the atmosphere grew darker and the air colder. Strange sounds began to echo around them. These strange sounds initially were faint but as they continued heading deeper, the sounds grew louder. It sounded like distant thuds against the walls and low, and guttural roars.

Isabella had managed to gently put Aimee to sleep despite the unnerving environment.

William was focused on the path ahead so he didn't immediately notice Aimee's peaceful slumber in Isabella's arms. He became alert once he started hearing the noises. Since he was a level 3 Ascender, the noises that he heard were much louder. 

They had walked about 400 meters when William's senses heightened. He heard the sounds of the zombie's footsteps. After walking for another 30 meters, he spotted a group of zombies lurking in the shadows.

"Isabella, stay back!!!!" William warned in a low voice. "There are zombies up ahead."
