Next morning,

William opened his eyes early in the morning to find Isabella curled up in his arms. He was cuddling her from behind, and she was doing the same with their daughter, Aimee. It was like a chain of hugs, and the sight brought a happy smile to William's face.

He remembered how, when he first came to this new world, he thought he'd never feel joy like he had before he lost his parents and his brother and his sister-in-law. But life had a surprise for him. Coming to this world proved to be a blessing in disguise for him and his daughter. He found Isabella, who was strong, fearless, smart, and someone he could really count on. And Aimee found a mother. 

But the smile faded as he thought about the day ahead. "Today is the day," he thought to himself, his face growing serious. Today, if his guess was right, Alexander would be back in Emberfall City. Today, all his plans would finally start to come together.
