Just as William was trying to get up, Azgaroth aimed to follow up with another punch. But just before his fist could make contact, black chains wrapped tightly around William's waist pulled him away to safety.
"Whew," William exhaled, feeling relieved. 'This guy's really good in close fights,' he thought to himself. Azgaroth's movements were incredibly smooth and hard to predict. He was flexible, and when he attacked, he did so with the quick, winding motion of a snake.
Azgaroth, too, was sizing up William, observing his moves and strategies. Just because he was stronger didn't mean he could afford to be careless. While Azgaroth had a clear advantage in terms of raw strength, magical power, health, and stamina, when it came to speed, agility, and quick thinking, William was not to be underestimated. In those areas, they were quite evenly matched despite William being only a level 3 Ascender.
