As Friday morning broke, I jumped out of bed with anticipation and swiftly dressed, aware that I had a couple of hours before my departure. There were some tasks I needed to attend to before heading out.
First, I decided to sit down with my family for the first time in days. Although communication had been strained. We exchanged a few awkward words, trying to bridge the gap that had formed between us.
Afterward, I went to my room and gathered some personal belongings. There were a few cherished items that I wanted to take with me to the juvenile prison. They held sentimental value and would serve as a reminder of home during my time there.
With my belongings in hand, I paused before the family photo hanging on the wall. I stared at it and for a moment, I felt a pang of emotion, but I quickly shook it off. This was all part of my plan, and I couldn't afford to let sentimentality cloud my judgment.
Special thanks to Tenzing_Choeying_5139 he's the only reader that's commenting in every chapter and becuase of him I am motivated to write every day. While I hope to receive more comments from others in the future, having one reader like Tenzing_Choeying_5139 is truly gratifying.
But even so, I know I have some silent readers, and to each one of you, I want to express my gratitude as well. I hope you all continue to enjoy my story, even if you prefer to remain quiet in the comments. :)
