Kapitel 555: The Price of Ascension

Midas stepped into the Tower, and his gaze was greeted by a room so blindingly white that it seemed to stretch into eternity. Another white room, huh… It reminded Midas of that time in the Trials. The Reward Rooms from back then reselbed the room greatly.

In a room like this, Midas had first realised just how much he could get out of the Trials, and that had spurred him on to continue working harder and unlocking everything, searching through every avenue, and giving his all to get everything out of the Trials.

This room was no different from those. It was equally white, equally sterile, and he was alone. As expected. He could almost feel the walls looking at him closely as if trying to gauge his worth.

Then a disembodied voice spoke, and Midas thought it was probably some Intelligence. The voice was smooth, comforting and feminine, and it broke the silence in the room. "Welcome, Incarnation!"
