Kapitel 452: The Next Target

The husband, seeing this, kissed her on top of her head again, trying to reassure her and calm her down. He too felt a similar confusion and complication. 

They had lost their daughter tragically, an event that almost tore their family apart, and then one day their son claimed he saw his sister in the Ascension Trials, an impossibility because their daughter had passed away a few days before.

But when they laid their eyes on the woman their son had mistaken for their daughter, they couldn't help but find the resemblance uncanny. How was this even possible?! 

From then on it was only a matter of investigating things. This was easy since the Trials might be run by an existence beyond recognition, but its helpers were definitely living beings that had selfish needs.
