Kapitel 370: A Horrible Reality

"Jose, you need to come with us." Another guard came forward at that moment, pulling Jose's attention from his "precious" young lady.When Jose turned his head to the man, he noticed that it was someone he knew quite well.

And yet this man was looking at him with no feelings in his gaze at all. Absolutely zero emotions in his gaze. It was as if he wasn't even human.

"Not just you. The rest of you need to come too," said another guard monotonously, and Jose immediately felt something wrong.

They all belonged to different units and only got assigned to the same mission due to some random algorithm. As soon as they got back, they were supposed to just leave to see their duties or go back to see their families.

And yet here they were being taken away on someone's orders. Wait, was this even a sanctioned operation?
