{Bonus Chapter 2/3!!}
Insane. That's what it made him.
Midas did not mind the idea of being called insane. It made sense to an extent. That was because he considered himself someone who always tries to go over the edge of what is acceptable, believable and understandable.
As Hunter S. Thompson once said about Insanity, "The Edge… There is no honest way to explain it because the only people who know are those who have gone over."
People looked at Midas, how much he pushed himself, how he never stopped and thought to themselves how insane their Clan Leader was. And yet this was Midas' reality.
What they considered crazy was his reality because he had long gone over the edge.
Looking to his left at Jax who was exploring the cabins and making comments about how the bed was large enough to have a threesome in, Midas saw that although the Scouts were having fun with everything, their expressions were still a mixture of anticipation and trepidation.
