The chorus of discontent at the scene had suddenly been overtaken by a resounding laughter that made the situation even tenser than before. If previously everyone had been aiming their pitchforks at everyone present, now they finally had a target to aim it at. 

How could they let go of such an opportune moment?

"Midas how dare you laugh at our struggles?!" said a man aggressively, completely forgetting the respectful way he had been addressing his Clan Leader this whole time. Hearing this, Midas laughed even more, thus eliciting a string of curses and admonishment from the crowd.
