Kapitel 68: Teach Me Cultivation

Midas and the nine Council Leaders sat at the table enjoying the food and making merry with everyone all around them. All around there were tens of other people all laughing among themselves and gobbling up all the food they could find.

The atmosphere was incredible, and everyone's mood was uplifted after the event and the ceremonies. More than uplifted, they were feeling excited for their futures. There was a multitude of reasons for this. 

Food Security. Personal Safety. Joyful Atmosphere. Hopeful Futures.

Midas smiled when he looked at all those people. Even if anyone found the Secret base now, it would not make a difference since the pact was in place. Every action he had taken was to ensure his safety and the safety of those he cared about. 

Funnily enough, the only person he cared about was Midas. As far as Midas was concerned, everything and everyone he was keeping in his orbit was merely people and objects that would help him achieve his goals.
