Kapitel 40: Feasting Like Royalty

Charlotte immediately grabbed onto Midas' hand and yanked it back with all her might as she chided Midas, saying, "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

"I was going to touch them and see if anything happens…" said Midas with a weird feeling in his heart. Why is this woman so touchy-feely with him when she's not even allowing him to be touchy-feely with her? 

Double Standards.

"Are you crazy?!" asked Charlotte in exasperation. These were Energy Crystals. Crystallisation of some Origin Energy that they had never even heard of before. Now he was reaching forward and touching them like it was nothing?!

"I think it's okay, you don't need to overreact it'll be fine…" said Midas. Seeing that she did not let go of his hand, he relented and said "We can test out their reaction to touching random materials first… So you can let go of my hand now right?"

Charlotte hesitated before she let go of his hand. But she remained close by just in case.
