"Alright, alright, it's a mage's robe, but it's still unconventional." Kristin Palmer said as she reached out her hand towards Stephen Strange.
"Your hand is very beautiful?" Stephen Strange guessed the meaning behind Kristin Palmer's outstretched hand.
"My hand is indeed beautiful, but that's not what I'm trying to convey right now." Kristin Palmer wiggled her finger, "Don't you think there's something missing here?"
"A ring!" Stephen Strange immediately slapped his forehead in regret. How could he forget the most crucial part of the proposal?
Ancient One opened a portal, and Stephen immediately went through it in a rush. He had neglected the most important thing about proposing!
"I knew you weren't prepared at all. Why do I not find it strange at all that you'd do something like this?" Kristin Palmer retracted her hand with a sigh, "You come over with just your mouth, is this how you propose? Do you think any girl in the world would agree to such a careless proposal?"
"You're right, I'm sorry, Kristin. I was too hasty. Give me a moment!" Stephen Strange immediately turned around and hurriedly rushed out.
Stephen Strange's proposal was still successful.
In reality, whether or not there was a ring didn't matter; what was important was whether the girl wanted to marry you or not.
A month later, another grand wedding took place.
This wedding was also very solemn, with a multitude of attending heroes. Even Thor and Loki came from Asgard to Earth.
At the same time, the unreliable guy, Star-Lord, piloted his ship to Earth.
This time, he wasn't alone. He had two companions on his ship: Rocket Raccoon and Groot.
In addition to these people, Stephen Strange also invited a heavyweight guest, his teacher, the current Sorcerer Supreme, the Ancient One.
Although Doctor Strange and Wong weren't as familiar, due to their video interactions, Stephen Strange knew that Doctor Strange was his most important ally in the future, so he invited him.
"Ancient One."
"Ancient One."
"Ancient One."
As the Ancient One appeared, almost everyone greeted her, even Tony Stark, the egocentric guy, was no exception.
"What's going on? Why does everyone here know the Sorcerer Supreme?" Wong found it strange, "Could it be that Stephen told them about Kamar-Taj?"
"Wong, the people at this wedding aren't ordinary; they're all superhumans. Knowing our identities doesn't matter, don't be nervous." The casually dressed Ancient One reassured Wong while surveying the scene.
"Wait a minute, is that... Thor? The God of Thunder, Thor?" Wong spotted a blond giant, "Stephen has quite the face; he managed to get even Asgard to send representatives. And Loki too?"
"That's just Thor and Loki's personal decision, it doesn't represent all of Asgard." The Ancient One said.
"The Avengers and us haven't had any interactions. Why is Stephen so familiar with them?" Wong felt that Stephen Strange was becoming more mysterious.
"Sorcerer Supreme, greetings." Thor also came over to greet the Ancient One.
"Thor, how is your father?" The Ancient One smiled and asked.
"My father, uh, he's doing well." Thor, who was fearless of gods and men, surprisingly felt somewhat reserved, as if he were facing an elder.
"Odin, it's so rare for it to be so lively today, and there's plenty of drink. Are you sure you don't want to come down for a few sips?" The Ancient One suddenly looked up and said.
"Earth's alcohol has no taste at all." No sooner had Odin spoken than his imposing figure appeared at the banquet.
"Father?" Thor was momentarily surprised; he didn't expect the Ancient One to casually mention it and for his father to actually come to Earth.
Even though Odin hadn't taken action in the videos, just the fact that he was alive and kept Thanos in check made everyone know that Odin was one of the most powerful beings in the universe.
No one expected that this grand event of Stephen Strange's wedding would also be attended by this titan.
"Odin is here too..." Nick Fury, the one-eyed man, looked at this super heavyweight. To be honest, he was a bit nervous. As the head of S.H.I.E.L.D., Fury had strong mental resilience, but he was just an ordinary person. And this person before him, even among gods, was a figure of immense dignity.
But when he saw Odin's eyepatch, the nervousness immediately melted away. A sense of familiarity arose.
Odin, he's one of our own...
Straightening his trench coat, Nick Fury walked over to Odin.
The feeling was a bit like meeting the big boss of S.H.I.E.L.D. when he had just joined.
"Mr. Odin, hello, I am—"
"Nick Fury, Director of S.H.I.E.L.D." Odin cut Nick Fury off before he could finish speaking.
Nick Fury's eyes instantly welled up with tears. Odin actually knew him!
Truly, a kindred spirit.
"Odin and the Ancient One appearing together. This tricked-out wedding is much livelier than mine," Tony Stark said, holding a glass of red wine and chatting with James Rhodes.
"What, jealous?" James Rhodes asked.
"Have you ever seen handsome people being jealous of ugly ones?" Tony Stark retorted.
Although the Ancient One and Odin appeared, they didn't stay at the wedding for long. Their identities and power were there for all to see, and given their seniority, they couldn't connect with the other heroes as easily as Stephen Strange did.
After the wedding, Thor didn't leave; he stayed on Earth and exchanged martial arts techniques with other heroes who understood them.
Of course, that was one thing. The other reason was that he was waiting for the Soul Stone.
Nick Fury had already arranged for several terminally ill volunteers. As soon as the wedding ended, he boarded Peter Quill's ship and headed to Vormir to obtain the Soul Stone.
The mission went smoothly. After sacrificing one of the volunteers, the Soul Stone ended up in Nick Fury's hands.
"Thor, quickly take the Soul Stone back to Asgard." Nick Fury handed the Soul Stone to Thor.
"Alright." Thor took the Soul Stone.
"We now have the Space Stone, Mind Stone, Reality Stone, Soul Stone, and the Time Stone is with the Ancient One. The only one left is the Power Stone." Nick Fury planned, "There's already a lead with the Guardians."
"Let me know as soon as you find it." Thor said.
"Sure." Peter Quill said.
Then, Thor used the Bifrost to return to Asgard, and Peter Quill left Earth in his spaceship.
However, soon enough, they returned to Earth.
Because the Q&A had started, they were pulled into the Q&A space.
Well, saying they returned to Earth wasn't quite accurate, as no one really knew whether the Q&A space was on Earth or not.
This time, in addition to the usual participants like the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, the Asgardian prince and princess, there was actually a newcomer.
A young Asian woman.
"Wow, it's been a while since we had a newcomer. Didn't expect to see one, and she's a pretty lady!" Tony Stark's eyes lit up when he saw Sessi.
"Yeah, the last newcomer was a while ago." James Rhodes said.
"I wonder who she is and what abilities she has." Stephen Strange also expressed his interest.
"The Avengers?" Sessi looked at the dark yet eerie visual void and then at the many people before her, her expression remarkably calm.
"She's not showing a hint of surprise. Seems like the newcomer either has a strong mental resilience or has experienced a lot and seen many strange things," Steve Rogers commented on the side.
"She definitely has some level of power." Bruce Banner said, "Confidence is built on strength; without strength, she wouldn't be so composed."
"Thor, can you tell me what this place is?" Sessi, after surveying everyone, finally spoke to Thor.
Once these words were spoken, everyone's gaze shifted to Thor.
You see, Thor wasn't the closest to Sessi. Tony Stark was standing right next to her, but she chose to talk to Thor.
"Thor, do you know her?" Stephen Strange couldn't help but ask.
"No, I don't." Thor first quietly answered Stephen Strange and then answered Sessi, "This is the Q&A space, a very extraordinary place."
"Questioning the future? Playing future events?" Sessi finally showed a surprised expression after hearing Thor's detailed explanation.
Even though the Eternal Clan had seen much due to their long lifespans, they were encountering something as strange as the Q&A space for the first time.
"Do you know me?" Thor asked at this moment.
"Little Thor, don't you recognize me anymore?" Sessi asked, "When you were young, we did meet."
"Little Thor?" As this phrase came out, everyone in the Q&A space was stunned.
You see, Thor was a god, his lifespan extremely long, and he was already 1500 years old.
And the woman before them claimed to have met Thor when he was young. Doesn't this mean that this woman had lived for at least thousands of years?
Humans absolutely couldn't live that long!
"Are you saying you're thousands of years old?" Tony Stark couldn't help but ask, "What are you? A god?"
"I'm not a god, I'm an Eternal." Sessi said.
"Oh, I remember now, it's you guys." Thor suddenly burst into laughter, "What about the others? Jin Guo? Gilgamesh?"
"Thor, which big god is from the Eternal Clan?" Nick Fury asked, "Why have I never heard you mention them?"
"They're not gods, just a group of immortals." Thor said.
"Just immortals?" Tony Stark almost wanted to hit something after hearing this, "Listen, being immortal and 'just'—is that even a thing in human language?"
"I'm not human, so strictly speaking, this isn't exactly 'human language'," Thor said.
"I guess they're more than just being immortal?" Stephen Strange said.
"Exactly, each member of the Eternal Clan possesses unique abilities," Thor said.
"Thor, with Earth facing so many threats, and you knowing such a group of people, yet you never tell us?" Steve Rogers couldn't help but say.
"It's not Thor's fault, it's that our Eternal Clan doesn't interfere with human affairs," Sessi said, "So even if you know about us, it doesn't matter."
"So, what exactly is the Eternal Clan?" Scott Lang felt a headache coming on, "And why can't you get involved in human matters?"
"We arrived on Earth aboard the Demeter starship over 7,000 years ago, from Olympia, to protect the people from the Deviants," Sessi gave a brief explanation, "We can't interfere in human conflicts, unless the Deviants appear."
"So, you've been on Earth for 7,000 years?" The information contained in this sentence was immense, causing Nick Fury's eyes to widen. He had always believed that the Kree and Skrulls were the earliest extraterrestrial visitors to Earth. But now, someone was telling him that they had been on Earth 7,000 years ago.
"So, you've witnessed a lot of history," Steve Rogers said.
"Yes, we've personally witnessed nearly all significant events in human history," Sessi said.
"But just witnessed?"
"We can't interfere."
"Why?" Scott Lang asked.
"Because if we've been protecting humanity for 7,000 years, humanity would never have the chance to develop in its own way," Sessi said.
This reasoning made sense. Imagine if a group of superpowered individuals always intervened, humanity wouldn't have had the chance to evolve on its own.
"You mentioned the Deviants, what are those?" Tony Stark asked.
"Don't worry, we exterminated them five centuries ago," Sessi said.
"If that's the case, why have you still been staying on Earth?" Nick Fury asked.
"We're waiting," Sessi said.
"Waiting for what?" Nick Fury asked.
"Waiting for notification that we can return home," Sessi said.
"So, what abilities do you have?" Stephen Strange asked.
"I can turn stones into water, I can turn stones into wood, or turn stones into metal..." Sessi said.
"Transforming one substance into another?" Steve Rogers summarized for Sessi.
"Exactly." Sessi said, "Limited to non-living matter."
The others were somewhat disappointed.
Initially, this woman entered the scene as a 7,000-year-old elder being, older than Thor, giving the impression of being extremely powerful. However, her abilities turned out to be something like this, sounding like she wouldn't even have much combat prowess.
"How many Eternal Clan members are there on Earth?" Phil Coulson asked.
"Ten." Sessi said.
"Where are they all?"
"I live in London. As for the others, I'm not sure," Sessi said, "After dealing with the Deviants, we all went our separate ways."
"Is there anyone particularly powerful in the Eternal Clan?" Stephen Strange asked.
"The most powerful among us is Ikaris. He can fly and shoot lasers from his eyes," Sessi said.
"Isn't that just a version of Captain America?" Stephen Strange said.
Oddly enough, these abilities do resemble those of the current Captain America.
