Kapitel 92: A lot to talk about

The kitchen was located at the far end of the maids' quarters, opposite the side where the bathroom was.

It took quite some time for Ellie and Ginger to arrive there, but the journey was no boring one. Ellie couldn't count how many times she had laughed as Ginger entertained her with tales of her life before everything changed.

When they arrived at the kitchen, Ellie was amazed at how big it was. However, slight confusion and disappointment registered on her face when she realized that despite the size of the kitchen, there were no modern facilities for cooking.

They still had an earthen fireplace, on which a very large pot sat, and from the aroma wafting across her nostrils, she could tell that lunch was almost ready.

There were about ten girls in there. Some were running around for reasons Ellie couldn't place her hands on at that moment, while the others were prepping vegetables and other things needed for lunch.
