Kapitel 53: Two dead maids

Meanwhile, ten minutes earlier…

"According to Asaph, it only needs a few tweaks before it will be ready for distribution. The last test worked perfectly, and traits of extreme violence were detected." Seth reported to Storm when he returned to the palace.

"Three reports came in from town, one CCTV footage, and I went to check out all the water sources of Alada. Everything is set. We just need Asaph to complete his job and we can commence." He continued with the report, speaking while they ascended the stairs to the top floor. 

"And Elfin?" Storm probed, looking unbothered about what he just heard. 

"He demanded to know where you went to as usual. I haven't seen him since last…" Seth trailed off and his feet halted just as Storm's when they arrived at the top floor and saw all the curtains opened.

Shock registered on both their faces but it soon faded from Storm's face to be replaced with narrowed eyes. 

Seth, however, didn't recover on time.
