Kapitel 5: 5.Sleepover

I was feeling pretty down today after dealing with Tom's constant harassment. But then I decided to check my social media and saw that my latest selfie had gotten a lot of positive feedback. People really seemed to like my new blush, and the comments made me feel so happy and confident.

Just then, Alex texted me and asked if I wanted to come over and hang out. I was so excited - I had been crushing on him for a while now. I replied with an enthusiastic "Yes!" and rushed over to his place.

When I got there, Alex greeted me with a warm smile and a hug. He was so charming and handsome, and I couldn't help but feel a little giddy in his presence. His apartment was cozy and inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful decor. We spent the evening chatting, laughing, and enjoying each other's company.

Alex had a real talent for picking out delicious food, and we ordered in some amazing dishes. As we ate, we talked about our interests, our hopes and dreams, and our favorite movies and TV shows. I felt like we had a real connection, and I was so happy to be spending time with him.

As the night wore on, we cuddled up on the couch and watched a movie together. I felt so comfortable and content in his arms. It was like all the stresses of the day had melted away, and all that mattered was the warmth of Alex's embrace and the comfort of his presence.

Alex and I were cuddled up on the couch, watching a movie and enjoying each other's company. Suddenly, my phone started buzzing like crazy with text messages from an unknown number. Alex asked me what was going on, and I looked at my phone to see that it was my ex-boyfriend, Tom, who had created a new number and was continuing to bother me.

Oh no! I whined to Alex. Can you believe this guy? He just won't leave me alone! I thought I made it clear that we were over, but he just can't seem to get the message. It's so frustrating!

Alex put his arm around me and pulled me closer. Aww, I'm so sorry, he said sympathetically. That sounds really tough. But please know that I'm here for you, and I'll do whatever I can to help you through this. You don't have to deal with it alone.

I smiled sweetly at Alex, feeling comforted by his kind words. Thank you, I said softly. That means a lot to me.

Just as I was starting to relax, my phone buzzed again with another message from Tom. This time, he was accusing me of being at a guy's house and accusing me of cheating on him all throughout our relationship.

I gasped in disbelief. How could he say something like that? I would never cheat on anyone, he is probably the one who cheated on me while we were dating. I felt tears starting to form in my eyes as I showed the message to Alex.

Alex's face hardened with anger as he read the message. That's it, he said firmly. I'm going to talk to this guy and make sure he knows to leave you alone. This is unacceptable.

I felt a warm glow of gratitude for Alex's protectiveness. Thank you, I said softly. You're the best.

Alex took my phone and dialed Tom's number. I could hear Tom's voice on the other end, but I couldn't make out what he was saying. Alex's voice was low and serious as he spoke to Tom.

"Listen, man," Alex said firmly. "I don't know what your problem is, but you need to stop harassing Sarah. She's done with you, and she doesn't want anything to do with you. If you don't back off, I'm going to have to take legal action. Do you understand?"

There was a long pause on the other end of the line, and I held my breath, waiting for Tom's response. Finally, he spoke, his voice low and defeated.

"Okay," he said quietly. "I'll leave her alone. You don't have to take legal action. I'm sorry."

Alex hung up the phone and handed it back to me. I felt a sense of relief wash over me as I realized that Tom might finally be backing off for good.

"Thank you," I said to Alex, my voice trembling with emotion. "You really are the best."

Alex smiled at me, his eyes warm and loving. "I'll always be here for you," he said softly. "No matter what."

Alex's eyes met mine, and I could see the question in them before he even spoke.

"Sarah," he said softly. "I know we've only been hanging out for a little while, but I really like you a lot. I was wondering if you would be my girlfriend."

A wave of emotions washed over me as I listened to Alex's words. On the one hand, I was thrilled that he felt the same way I did. I had been crushing on him for weeks, and I was so happy that he felt the same way.

On the other hand, I had just gotten out of a really tough relationship, and I wasn't sure if I was ready to jump into something new so quickly.

"Alex," I said gently. "I really like you a lot too. But I think I need some time to get to know you better before I'm ready to be in another relationship. Can we just keep hanging out as friends for a little while longer?"

Alex's face fell slightly, but he nodded his head in understanding. "Of course," he said quietly. "I understand. I just want you to know that I really care about you, and I'm willing to wait as long as it takes for you to be ready."

I smiled at him, feeling a warm glow of affection. "Thank you," I said softly. "That means a lot to me."

As we sat on the couch, I could feel my eyelids getting heavy. It was getting late, and I knew I had to be up early for work the next day. I was about to suggest that I head home when Alex spoke up.

"Hey, Sarah," he said softly. "It's getting late, and we both have to work tomorrow. Do you want to spend the night here? I promise we can sleep separately. You can have my bed, and I'll sleep on the couch."

I hesitated for a moment, unsure if I was ready to spend the night at Alex's apartment. But then I thought about the long commute back to my own place, and I realized that it might be nice to just crash here for the night.

"Okay," I said finally. "That sounds good. I'll take the bed, and you can have the couch."

Alex smiled at me, and I felt a sense of warmth and affection wash over me. He was such a kind and caring person, and I was so grateful to have him in my life.

As I settled into Alex's bed, I felt a sense of peace and comfort wash over me. It was strange being in someone else's space, but it was also kind of exciting. I closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep, feeling grateful for the warmth and safety of Alex's apartment.

The next morning, I woke up feeling refreshed and well-rested. I glanced around the room, momentarily disoriented before remembering that I was at Alex's apartment.

As I got out of bed and stretched, I could smell the delicious aroma of breakfast cooking. I smiled to myself, feeling grateful for Alex's thoughtfulness and generosity.

I quickly got dressed and headed out towards the living room, where Alex was waiting with a big smile on his face. He had clearly been up for a while, and he had made us both a delicious breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast.

"Good morning, Sarah!" he said cheerfully. "I hope you slept well."

"I did," I replied, feeling a warm glow of affection for him. "Thank you so much for letting me stay here last night. And for making breakfast! You didn't have to do that."

Alex grinned at me. "Of course I did," he said. "I wanted to do something nice for you. Plus, I love cooking, so it was no trouble at all."

I finished my breakfast quickly, feeling a sense of urgency as I realized that I had to get going if I was going to make it to work on time.

"Thanks again for breakfast, Alex," I said, as I got up from the table. "It was really delicious."

"No problem at all," he replied, with a warm smile. "I'm just glad you enjoyed it. And I'm really glad you stayed over last night. It was great to spend some extra time with you."

I felt a surge of affection for him, and I smiled back at him. "Yeah, it was really nice," I said. "Thanks again for everything."

With that, I headed towards the door, feeling a sense of excitement and anticipation about the day ahead. I couldn't wait to get home, shower, and get ready for work. And I couldn't wait to see Alex again, either.
