Kapitel 6: The Debt Maker.
The elevator finally reached the 7th floor and opened. A man in a red suit and pants stood in front of an office desk and said, "Behold." He shouted, "I am the Debt Maker and you will become my slaves." Then he lunged at them.
Everyone tensed and quickly jumped away; however, when the Debt Maker landed his punch, it hit the elevator door and ruptured it leaving a hole in the wall. When everyone saw this and opened their eyes wide, then they landed on the ground.
Amelia drew her sword from its sheath, while Tokito took out a knife from his suit. Then the man turned around swiftly and dashed at Amelia, who swung her sword at him, but for some reason it didn't slice him. However, he punched her in the stomach, causing saliva to escape from her mouth, and she was sent flying out the window.
Lucas was now hot on his tail. He had a punch angled at the man's face while Toktio's knife was inches away from his head. However, for some reason, the knife and Lucas's punch missed; at the same time, Toktio used his ability, and the rest of his body was sliced up except his head.
While this was happening, the debt maker punched Lucas in the face and sent him flying into the wall. He hit the concrete and cracked it a little, then Lucas spat blood from his mouth and looked up at the man, then at Tokito's head, and said, "Looks like that didn't work."
"You should give up. There's no chance of beating me because you're all in debt." The Debt Maker stated; staring at Lucas.
"What?" a confused Lucas replied, then the building started to shake and dust fell from the roof. So Lucas started looking around and noticed clean, sharp cuts all over the building. Afterward, he looked down and saw the floor beneath them through a sharp cut in the floor.
He opened his eyes wide and dashed for Tokito's head, picked it up, and jumped out the window. At the same time, he grabbed the wall that framed the window and ripped it out. This caused the whole building to suddenly collapse into pieces.
"Crash!"
Dust filled the area around Lucas as boulders and rocks crumbled into the ground. Lucas ignored this and stared at Tokito's slowly regenerating head, saying, "That was some quick thinking."
"What do you mean?"
Lucas looked around quickly, and saw that it was Amelia and replied, "I think Tokito sliced up the building using his ability. It cost him the lower half of his body; somehow he figured out we can't just attack the guy because for some reason our attacks don't land."
"So what do we do?"
"Honestly, I don't know, but assuming he won't let us get away, I think we should keep him busy until help arrives."
Just then, the Debt Maker punched the palm of his hand and made the dust disappear. As he walked towards the two, he said, "One down, two more to go."
When he said that Amelia tightened the grip on her sword and Lucas clenched his fist then they lunged at him. He effortlessly blocked a slash from Amelia and dodged a punch from Lucas that quickly followed. Then Amelia jumped high into the air, angled her sword above her head and landed it on the debt Maker.
The earth around them ruptured and left a line of destruction; however, the man was unaffected. A surprised expression took over Amelia's face as the Debt Maker stared at her and said, "You don't understand, do you?" he dashed at her suddenly and drove his hand through her heart.
Amelia was stunned and dropped her sword as he continued, "You're not beating me unless you clear your debt." Then he pulled her heart out and slapped her into the rubble.
Seeing this, Lucas instinctively lunged at him with his teeth gnashed. However, when he punched him with all his strength. The Debt Maker casually blocked it and the recoil of the attack destroyed the rubble and concrete on the ground.
This stunned Lucas, and then the debt Maker pulled him into a fist and destroyed his face with a punch. Then he kicked Lucas into the road. Instead of furthering the fight, he simply said, "Now that all of you are my slaves, you will do my bidding to repay your debt." Afterwards, he disappeared.
