Kapitel 30: Festival of Dreams - Season 1 - Chapter 23 (26)
10th Chapter in 5 ish days I believe, this isn't natural for me.
Then again I've been writing when I have the urge too, I simply write either when my deadline is or when I get in the mood, after all I do this for fun, I don't get paid or anything like that.
Also I'm still deciding how I want the harem to even start, got some ideas, but don't expect it to immediately happen unless you can come up with how it would happen. But I think my way will make sense and not be just a Deus Ex Machina or anything.

MC POV (Next Morning)
"Hey wake up", I'm woken up by light shaking feeling as my eyes land on Setsuna in her school uniform, how did she get that?
"Hey you're finally awake, get dressed we have to go to school today, they let us off yesterday because well we were attacked", I sit up slowly and stretch my body.
(MC was knocked unconscious and recovered within the same day due to recovery girl, yes her quirk is stronger not heal All Might tier though, also someone on WebNovel do it, send the Gif, it may not be the exact same quote but it's close enough you know what I'm talking about.)
"They couldn't give us another day off, guess we need to people to survive anything if we're trying to become hero's. Also quick question your clothes... How?", I get up and walk towards my dresser grabbing my school outfit.
"My mom recommended I take it with me, she likes to be careful", I nod as I take off my shirt before glancing towards Setsuna as she just watches me for a moment before turning around.
Quickly changing clothes we head out.
"So do you always walk to school?"
"I do, though on occasion I do jog, early morning exercise, I do stamina training through my gravity and breathing training to keep my body stable, it's why my heartrate isn't constantly at a high rate, when I'm working out I control my breathing which changes the blood flow in my body."
"Huh, are you always using, your breathing thing?"
"No I'm not always using it."
"Can you teach me it it sounds useful, my stamina isn't the greatest and I need to work on it.", she takes a step closer as we continue walking.
"Sure, there are two variations to the technique that I know. One relies on inhaling a lot of breath at once thought it can be used constantly too and the other is used to inhale a small amount of breath at once or constantly, the only main difference is that one is used for stabilization and the other increases physical capabilities", I show of the basics to both of my techniques but something interesting happens when doing the deep inhales.

'Hm, a hidden quest because of breathing? A Slayer's Breath, I feel like that's a reference to something.'
"You're zoning out again".
"Ah, Sorry about that was just thinking about something, anyways you should only practice these when it's time to practice, breathing incorrectly can cause you injury or your body to react weirdly", she nods as we quickly make it to the school, the orphanage only being a 20 minute walk away.
(Which isn't that bad, I'm personally used to walking 40 minutes, and let me say it is an enjoyable time)
We find ourselves in front of the classroom doors as we can hear a bunch of our classmates talking.
"You should all quiet down class is about to start and Aizawa was in a less than happy mood last time I saw him", I immediately make my presence known.
A bunch of gazes fall on me each with a different feel behind them.
"Um morning Y/n, are... are you doing okay?", Kirishima was the first to speak up.
"If I wasn't okay I wouldn't be here... But thanks for asking", Setsuna and I find our seats.
A couple more conversations go on but there are constant glances at me.
After awhile Aizawa enters through the door, a few bandages on his body but nothing severe.
"Morning, we need to discuss something important after all a hero's fight is never over", a bunch of people start asking if we have more villains to face.
"No, U.A's Sport Festival is approaching", Aizawa looks on in a serious tone.
"But that's so ordinary!", many look on in disbelief.
"Is it really okay to have a festival after an attack on our school", Ida.
"It's necessary to show that U.A. High isn't affected and it's security is sound, there will be fives times the normal security, after all this is the greatest opportunity you get to not only determine your own strength but to show it to others. Plus as far the public is aware no students were harmed", immediately a small outrage comes from Ida.
"But that's insane, Y/n was hurt massively and even hospitalized".
"Ida there is a reason the public can't know this stuff, what if one of the strongest hero's were injured severely could we just let the public know? Think of the outrage it would cause the doubt it would put on peoples mind, it's for the best. Not to mention my injuries were healed by Recovery Girl", I quickly shoot him down.
"B-But... I-... I see, I don't like it but.... If it's for the best and if you, the injured one, say it's fine I will leave it be", he sits down.
"Thanks for trusting in me and you teachers, I appreciated your immediate concern".
Aizawa draw the attention back to him.
"The Sports Festival is not something that can simply be canceled, even if villains attack the Festival is, as far as the people are concerned, our version of the Olympics and a show of our future hero's."
"Won't Pro Hero's be watching?", Kaminari speaks up this time.
"Yes they'll be acting as scouts, it will allow future hero's to grow connections and build early rapport", Momo quickly answers his question with the same finesse as usual.
"Naturally you'll gain valuable experience and popularity if some of the big shots pick you, but time is limited, you will need to show the Pro's what you are made of and make a name for yourself, during your time at U.A. you will only get three chances, this is not an event you can miss, it's make it or break it kids."

End of Fourth Period (Cementoss's Class)
The bell rings signifying the end of the class as everyone gets up to head to lunch.
"Man this has got me so freaking pumped!", Kirishima voice can be heard by everyone, "If we show our stuff here, that's just another step towards going pro."
"Everyone is so excited", this time it's Midoriya who is standing near Ida at the door.
"Well aren't you, this our change to make names for ourselves, we're all in high spirits because of it", despite his words his body looks very tense.
"You got a funny way of showing it, *kero*".
"Deku, Ida, let's all do our best at this Sports Festival", Uraraka's voice comes out happy but competitive.
"Woah Uraraka you're getting the competitive spirit", Mina states what everyone is thinking.
"Well yeah we've all got different things to prove".
After hearing Uraraka's words we all start heading out towards the lunch room as Midoriya speaks up.
"Uraraka I never asked, why do you want to become a hero"
"Oh me? I'm honestly doing it for fame and money, for as bad as that sounds. I know it sounds bad compared to something like Ida's noble motivations and all."
"On the contrary there is nothing wrong with seeking a comfortable lifestyle", Ida immediately argues her claim.
"Honestly it's just a bit surprising", Midoriya takes a step away from Ida as he flails his arms around.
"Well it's not like I'm living in a bad lifestyle, I just want to life a bit more carefree and help those around me. When I was originally growing up my parents had it bad, but when the incident happened they managed to rake in a lot of money but they always taught me to be careful since you could lose it at any time, being humble and all that", she scratches her in head in slight embarrassment.
"That's not a bad dream, as long as you do your job as a hero who cares if why you do it."
"Yes as Y/n says, not everyone has a noble cause, but sometimes a noble cause isn't needed for noble deeds", Ida starts doing his 'Boy' thing where he throws out his hand like a robot cutting vegetables.
"Speaking of dreams, what about you Y/n"
"Me? Well I won't lie and say I wanted to be a hero, my circumstances sort of forced me into it, but I won't back down because of it. I plan on being the hero people need not want, I want to make a change in society even if I end up hated because of it."
"I see, a very noble sacrifice, I don't quite know what you mean but I hope you accomplish your goal".
"Yes although it's unfortunate you were forced into being a hero I'm glad you managed to find yourself willing to do it regardless of circumstances", from behind us Momo and Jiro approach, Momo having given her opinion.
"Young Midoriya, would you like to join me for lunch" from the corner of the hall All Might walks out.
"A-All Might, sure", immediately skips over to her.
"Young Y/n, soon I would like to have a discussion with you if you don't mind".
'With me.. Why' "Sure I don't see why not".
We arrive at the food stands, myself going to grab some ramen.
Sitting down at a table Setsuna opts to sitting beside me.
"You doing okay", Momo takes a seat across form the two of us along with Jiro and surprisingly Tokoyami takes a seat not to far away.
"Yeah I'm doing fine Recovery Girl managed to patch me up", I place my outer jacket onto the back of my seat and roll up my sleeves, a few scars showing.
"I see, but I was asking more so mentally, the public may not no, but everyone saw what happened that day, the things you did and state you were in... it- it was" Momo's voice comes out with a quiver to it as there is noticeable fear in her eyes.
Seeing someone you thought was strong and could rely on in such a state probably wasn't good for her.
"Trust me I'm doing fine, I won't lie and say it doesn't still itch at the back of my mind, but I lived didn't I?", I do my best to give a caring smile, though it comes out a bit weirdly, I'm not insanely used to comforting others.
She nods at my words, "Yes I suppose so, no one has voiced it to much yet but we were all very concerned at seeing you like that... that... rage"
"? What do you mean 'rage', I wasn't given the finer points only that I blanked out and started fighting against the Nomu"
"You don't remember? I see, from what we were all told when you lost consciousness you went into a unconscious blind rage uncaring of anything and only focused on defeating the Nomu thing, when All Might arrived Tsuyu told the rest of us you even attempted to attack her when she interfered but were quickly subdued", I let her words sink in for a minute.
"I see.... I'm sorry if I scared any of you, I don't remember doing such things", 'Is this what she wanted to talk about'.
"It's fine, because of it you managed to stop anyone else from fighting that thing".
"Yeah you looked kind of badass while doing it too, even if it was scary", this time Jiro speaks up giving me a smile.
"Speaking of which do you have any idea what that... 'form' is about, you had weird marking and everything.", I glance towards Setsuna nodding my head.
"I have a couple idea's but nothing concrete yet, haven't had time to look into it", 'Tainted Corruption was it? I'll have to look into it'.
We all sit and discuss some things, a couple of our classmates joining us on occasion before going back to doing their own thing.
As I head back to class I get stopped by Tokoyami,
"Y/n can I talk to you"

Anyways not much to say though I will say that I will be going over the 2 weeks skips that takes place before festival since there is a lot I can do development wise, and I might throw in half chapters after it all if I feel like I can expand a bit more for further development.
Question of the Chapter: Favorite Festival Fight in MHA, honestly for me it's gotta be Bakugou Vs. Uraraka. Most of the fights were okay at best. The Midoriya Vs. Todoroki was... better, I wouldn't say it's my favorite. Bakugou Vs. Todoroki was fire, literally but didn't have insane depth. But Uraraka Vs. Bakugou not only gave Bakugou a reality check, showed the world that gender don't matter you still gonna get a right hook, and gave Uraraka some actual development, then again she is like the only female to get development other than like La Brava and Lady Nagant.
