Kapitel 30: Chapter 30: Special

"Where were you! I was so worried about you!"

Grandma Bella exclaimed over the phone.

Aubrey had finally called her grandmother that evening after Rhyland ended up getting her a new phone, all to her consternation. The man also asked for her classmates to share their recordings of the lectures. Add these to the growing list of things to be thankful to Rhyland for. Aubrey sighed.

If Rhyland had not come when he did, Aubrey could have bled out at the bottom of those stairs. She was certain of it. She knew how the mess hall could be so deserted at night time. Which was why she didn't anticipate that she would be followed. And as for who the assailant was, Aubrey's got no clue.

'It may very well be what Rhyland had hypothesized. A sasaeng fan could have tried to eliminate me. But that just seems too intense of an act. Plus getting me out of the picture doesn't necessarily mean that they will get to date Rhyland.' Aubrey pondered.
