Kapitel 25: Unfortunate Scene

Dave observed her retreating figure as she left him behind on the balcony. She didn't care about his life anymore, and in his opinion, it was for the best.

"Dave, there you are," Alpha Nureo entered the balcony, appearing relieved as if he had been searching for Dave.

"Alpha Nureo, congratulations on your brother's wedding," Dave greeted him, composing himself.

"Thank you for coming. Have you seen Dante?" Nureo inquired.

"Yes, I saw him and…" Dave trailed off, realizing he couldn't mention Charlotte's name anymore.

Alpha Nureo raised an eyebrow questioningly at Dave and smiled when he understood what Dave couldn't say.

"I know you must be thrilled that my sister is no longer a source of concern for you. Ah, she's getting married soon, and I will make sure she invites you," Alpha Nureo said, sincerity evident on his face. 

Dave desperately wanted to leave the wedding party and find some peace for his overwhelmed mind.
