Kapitel 141: Off to the side

A long trail of three columns of vehicles on a road supposed to provide only two lanes. The remaining emergency channel, a theorized design, was shut off by these unscrupulous road users.

In the middle of the congested traffic, apart from dissatisfied horns from the impatient drivers, a distinct tone rang in every road user's ears.

Amidst the screech of several tones of siren, from wails, and yelps to rumbles, two remarkably huge black trucks labeled in white paint—POLICE—or so it seemed to be from a distance, crawled forward.

Its siren light and sounds proved to others, that they were in an emergency. The small vehicles around maneuvered, seeing these trucks inched behind to give space. 

Even then the speed was no better than crawling as the vehicles ahead of the two trucks only moved after their butts got nearly kissed.
