Kapitel 75: Hero

As the shortsword descended towards Marcus, an eerie silence took hold of the surroundings. One wouldn't even be able to hear the sound of the wind as the sword fell down because it seemed the sword cut even it in half as it soared towards Marcus's face.

Whilst this was happening, a slight shift in the wind occurred between the descending sword and Marcus's face, and at that same exact moment, the unconisous omen could do nothing about its impending doom.

Just like that, the shortsword cut him cleanly in half, from head to groin.

The omen's perpendicularly severed body fell limply to the ground in a mess of blood and gore, and one could clearly see the dark red blood that oozed from the corpse as its innards either spilled out onto the cobbled stone floor or were extremely close to doing so.
