Kapitel 85: Injured

Elric didn't even have time to react before the large figure reached them, launching itself right into Ember's side. She was much smaller than the incoming person and didn't see them coming at all.

She wasn't able to brace herself at all as they slammed into her, sending her flying across the hard cement sidewalk. Her body slammed into the ground before sliding a bit, her limbs laying limply against the ground.

"Ember!"

Elric shoved the unknown man away as he ran over to the unconscious girl, He could already see a bit of blood pooling up beneath her head.

The young man angrily looked up at the assaulter, but they had already turned around and started to run away.

'Shit!'

Elric furtively looked between his fallen girlfriend and the attacker before making a decision. After engraving the figure of the attacker's back into his mind, he crouched down next to Ember.

The pool of blood under her head was increasing in size, and he could see a few other scrapes on her skin as well.
