Leon, Lily, and Freya stepped into the hotel room, which had already become Leon's new residence. He felt like a stranger in his own home, though he knew that it would be his for an entire year.

Lily paused in the doorway and turned to Freya. "Why only a year?" she asked softly, her voice barely breaking through the tense silence.

Freya grinned at Lily knowingly, placing her hand on the younger girl's shoulder. "Because in a year's time," She said, her voice full of mysterious reassurance, "Your brother will be so incredibly wealthy that this place will seem like nothing more than a distant memory." Giggles bubbled up from deep within her as she said this, and the atmosphere seemed to lighten considerably.
