"Don't look at me like that, she was supposed to protect me but failed," Lisa said awkwardly at Ethan's dark gaze. Ethan was burning with fury and jealousy. He had just gone to park the car and returned only to find her wife being held with another man not just any man but Lisa's first love. How could he let it go so easily?
"What do you mean me?" Sandy tried to find her way out.
"Okay, I'm sorry I know I said I wouldn't get bullied but..." Lisa stopped halfway as she realized that wasn't the problem. As she stared at Ethan, she found his gaze quite familiar it was his jealous gaze. She immediately reached into her bag and then brought out a hand sanitizer. She sprayed it on her hand before rubbing it off on her.
"See, I've sanitized myself I'm sorry it won't happen again," Lisa smiled in accomplishment seeing Ethan's gaze soften.
"Aaah! Jeez can you guys not do that in front of the restaurant," Sandy sighed helplessly. She began regretting tagging along.
