Kapitel 22: (Chapter 19) Under Attack

Kyoku held the piece of paper as he skimmed through the contents, he dropped his head for a moment mourning the loss of a friend before his visage became grim
'Deruhashi!'
As soon as he called a retainer entered and bowed before the clan leader, 'Sound the alarm we are under attack!'
The man became pale before he ran towards a room in the compound, He soon entered as there lay a single den den mushi that connected them to all the families on the island
He soon dialled a number before pressing the button on the snail's shell and ran out after doing so to inform the family heads situated in the capital

As soon as Minamoto entered his home he froze as he could hear the den den Sushi that every family owned
This meant that they were under attack but before getting ready he had to check on Ryu-chan
As soon as he opened the door he found the boy missing, 'Hisho have you seen Ryu?!' he asks as he runs back to his daughter
Her eyes widen as she shakes her head 'Where is he?! Is he not in bed' she asks as she runs into the house to try and look for him
'There's no time! I'll look for him start heading towards the capital!' he orders her
'But Ry-' she couldn't finish her sentence as she looked towards her father, he was seething
'Go now!'
She knew there was no arguing with him now as she head for the front door
*Crash!*
A large boulder just crashed into the side of their home as Minamoto grabbed his daughter before she was crushed and dove out of the home
He looked back to see their home on fire as a figure landed on top of the boulder
'That sword you carry is interesting' Came the voice of the figure, the man was tall and had spiky golden hair going down his back, he wore a yellow kimono and dark cargo pants
The man landed in front of them and he drew two long swords from their sheaths, Minamoto snarled before rushing the man sword ablaze ready to strike him down
The sounds of metal clashing reverberated throughout the field as their blades clashed, 'Hehe this is gonna be fun' said the man
{Bukeyashiki}
'Kyoku-sama What is the meaning of this!' came the voice of Enyo as he barged into the meeting room
He was in his samurai garb as he was allowed by the other family heads excluding the moeru
'We are under attack from all sides get to your compounds now!' He asked as he ordered them to their stations
They merely nodded before they dashed outside, but before they could leave the compound they sensed above the city
'What the fuck is that?!' came the voice of Danzo the Narukami family head as he looked towards what seemed to be a beast heading straight for their city

Ryu ran as fast as he could, he could see his home burning while two figures blurred around the field
He soon saw his mother sitting near a tree, She was badly injured as cuts and buses laced her frame, she was also unconscious
'Ka-san!'
Ryu rushed towards her before looking her over, he needed to get her help and quick
"What happened here?! And where Ji-chan" he thought to himself as he lay his backpack before taking out a roll of bandages
He patched her up as best he could before carrying her, he started running back towards Masamune's shop hoping that there was medical equipment there
But as he was running g he heard the sound of the air being slashed as he looked back only to see a golden slash coming straight towards them
"Shit, a can't deflect that! If I try then I might hurt Hassan" but before he could dwell on it even more a red figure dashed right in front of the air slash before cutting it straight in half
'Ji-chan!'
'Get your mother out of here now!' He ordered before dashing back towards where the slash came from, Ryu sighed in relief as he continued running down the dirt road
