"She's weakening," a voice said, satisfied. "Look at her… she's falling apart."

Another chimed in, more amused. "Such a fragile thing. How does she think she can fight us?"

Su Jiyai could barely focus on their words anymore. 

Her instincts screamed at her to fight, to survive, but her body was betraying her, slowing down, giving in to the darkness.

A desperate thought surfaced.

What if, just like a person could manipulate a painting from the third dimension, she could somehow find a way to manipulate her reality from the fourth?

If they could reach her through their dimension, perhaps there was a way for her to push back.

She didn't know how, or even if it was possible, but it was the only chance she had left.

Her hand twitched, reaching toward the blackened wound on her stomach.

The dark energy was seeping deeper into her, but maybe… just maybe she could use that connection.
