"Why are you staring at me?" Jia Li asked, who was done with her official work in the late afternoon.
"I am not staring at you," Xianwu replied, who was seated across from her on another table chair set with his elbow resting on it and his cheek tilted on that palm.
"You are staring at me for thirty minutes. You didn't even finish applying the royal seals on the official papers I gave you," Jia Li sternly said.
"That's called admiring your lover," Xianwu corrected her and finally he lowered his arm.
"You can admire me later, but finish the work first," Jia Li told him. She rose from her place and walked up to him. "Give me your seal. I will apply it on the official papers," she asserted.
Xianwu grasped her wrist and pulled her down on his lap.
