"I mean, I guessed this much, but still. Are they intelligent enough to talk?" Ben asked, wondering if he could just talk things through with the goblins and ask them to leave the village. Not that he felt any remorse or regret for killing them, but still, it didn't feel right to solve issues through violence if he could talk it off. 

As the creatures evolve stronger, their intelligence grows as well. Naturally, all beasts above the king tier can communicate in human language. Although goblins are a bit of an exception.,
