Kapitel 131: Ch. 131 Caenis
( Yuto Pov )
" Oi! Whacha you lookin' at!!?" The woman looked at our, no, at Aristos' direction.
The woman pointed her finger st Aristos.
" Do Ya' wanna fight!!" The woman yelled aggressively.
' She reminds me of mordred.' I thought as I looked at the woman walking towards Aristos.
Aristos stood there stupidly
" Oi!"
Aristos came back from my shout.
He took a step back, dodging the butt of the spear that would've hit his head.
" Woah!"
Taking his staff out, he barely blocked the second attack.
" Counter." Yuto spoke.
Aristos heard him and tried to counter but couldn't as his staff hit her shield.
" Step back."
Aristos took a step back, dodging the blade of the spear.
" Now attack."
Doing ad I said he hit her leg, which was dodged by her jumping up and kicking him.
* Thud *
" Gasp!!" Aristos had the wind knocked out of him.
" Breathe, remember the breathing technique." I spoke to him as I looked down to him as he tried to breathe.
" Shit, roll!"
* Clank! *
Aristos rolled out of the way of a spear that dugged into the ground.
Rolling to his feet, Aristos began to defend himself once again.
" Sigh, use your magic."
" But it'll hurt her." Aristos spoke as he blocked an attack from her shield.
" Just use the water ball. It won't do that much damage." I responded.
Aristos chooses to trust me as he speaks.
" Waterball!" He shouted.
" Wha!!??" The woman was surprised at the sudden magic attack as she lifted her shield.
She tried to counter with thrusting her spear forward but was blocked by a water shield.
" Water Shield!" He shouted again as the spear tried to peirce the shield.
' Sigh, please stop shouting.' I thought to myself as I watched on.
" Hey, don't yell your attacks. Just whisper them. They'll be able to predict your attacks once they understand them." I spoke.
Aristos nodded.
Then I watched on at Aristos, and the woman fought.
" Use chakra to increase your strength and speed, and use mana to heighten your senses." I spoke.
Aristos began to fight stronger and faster. He was able to fight back.
" Hoh? you're strong!! What ya name, pretty boy!!" The woman shouted as she enjoyed the battle.
" Aristos." He replied as he ducked under a spear and stepped back from her shield attack.
" The names Caenis, remember it!!" The woman now known as Caenis attacked more ferociously.
" Imbue your mana into the staff." I instructed.
He did as he blocked a heavy attack from above.
" Watch out for her shield." I called out.
Aristos lifted his leg to block the shield.
From here on out, I left him to fight her on his own.
Caenis, seeing her held blocked by his leg, turned around, and his leg sweeped him.
* Thud *
Aristos fell to his back and rolled back from her shield, bashing into the ground.
" Hurgh! Slippery aincha!!" She followed after Aristos as he blocked her spear.
The both of them went into a stalemate as they looked at each other.
" You're strong." Aristos spoke as he looked into Caenis eyes.
Caenis smile went wider as she looked at Aristos.
The both of them pushed each other back as they made distance between each other.
" Water spear." Aristos whispered as he ran forward, sending a water spear at Caenis.
Caenis blocked the water spear with her shield, which blocked her vision from seeing Aristos.
Successfully blocking the attack, she looked up from her shield only to not see him there.
I'm looking around she tried to find him quickly.
She didn't see Aristos jump over her and was now behind her.
" Push." Aristos spoke.
Caenis looked back to his voice only to be pushed into a building.
* Crash!! *
Seeing her crash into the building, his adrenaline wore off. And he started freaking out.
" Ah! I.I...I didn't kill her, did I!!!??" Aristos shouted as he was freaking out running around.
" You didn't kill her idiot. She was sturdier than a damn elephant." I spoke as I crossed my arms, seeing him make a fool of himself.
" Oh, right. She was strong." Aristos spoke as he thought back to the fight.
" We should leave. The gaurds must've heard the commotion." I spoke as Aristos calmed down.
" Right, but we should get her."
" What? Just leave her, we can find her again." I spoke as I looked at Aristos climbing into the building.
" Nope, if I'm going to be a hero, I need to take responsibility and help her." He said as he picked up the woman as he also grabbed her spear and shield.
" If that's so, then why not turn yourself into the guards since you destroyed these people's homes." I spoke as I saw his reaction.
He froze in place as he turned his head to me.
" Y.. you're probably right. How can the family here spend the night I should turn myself in."
" Sigh." I facepalmed.
Dropping my hand, I saw Aristos standing there in the middle of the road waiting for the guards.
" You should just escape. After all, the woman probably needs help." I spoke.
He didn't look at me but still spoke.
" I know what you are doing, Yuto. You're trying to manipulate me. " He spoke.
" You really are naive. Do you know what they'll do to that woman?"
" They'll put her on trail for damages and lock her up." He responded.
" No, they'll take advantage of her using her body. I may be a bastard who tried to manipulate you, but if there's one thing I hate in this world, it's when people abuse their power and authority." I spoke as I walked right in front of him.
" Like the gods?" Aristos asked.
" Yes. Because they were abused by them and look what they've become. The gods don't care as long it brings them entertainment, like kings watching slaves fight each other for entertainment." I spoke as I posted my palm towards the rest of the city.
" Aristos. The one that made me lose my body was a god. Poseidon. I didn't know what he wanted but the bastsrd suddenly attacked me and my friend." I spoke to him as we both looked at each other.
Aristos had a serious face.
" That woman will be taken advantage by the gods and perhaps by poseidon in order for her to turn her into a man. Aristos, I want to know why he attacked me. Was it for entertainment, or was there an actual reason."
Aristos looked back at Caenis as he looked back at me.
" Alright, I'll get us out of here." He spoke as he turned and ran as soon as a couple of guards turned into the road.
' This should work for now.' I thought to myself as I floated next to Aristos as he escaped the city.
