Noa jolted awake as the sound of his ringing phone pierced the silence of his room.

He had only managed to get a few hours of sleep after the intense battle the night before, and the memories of the incident still haunted his dreams.

He quickly reached for his headset and pressed the button on his ear. The hologram screen in front of him illuminated his face with a cold glow as he read the urgent message that had just arrived.

Noa felt a knot of fear tighten in his gut as he read the message. He couldn't help but wonder if this meeting had something to do with the rebels' liberation that he and his friends had carried out the previous night.
