"What do you mean by "she left? Aren't you supposed to bring her in to attend to the boss? And why is it a she? You know the boss doesn't like women getting too close to him."

When he didn't get any response from Mr Wallace and the latter showed no sign of continuing with the conversation, he got incensed for being treated as air.

"The least you could do is give me an explanation since you can't even carry out such a simple task as escorting the doctor past the entrance. I'm sure you would have pissed her off with your foul mouth."

"I can see that age is bearing down on you heavily so you can be excused from time to time."

"You will soon meet your karma," Mr Wallace eventually said and continued to stare into space as if he wasn't the one that just spoke.

Johnson wanted to retort but changed his mind in the end. He had an urgent matter at hand.
