Kapitel 237: 236 Blackbeard Pirates: Disbanded

The Whitebeard Pirates' ship sailed swiftly, and Marco, positioned at the bow on the other ship, observed as Whitebeard took decisive action against Blackbeard.

"Hurry up, Pops already attack! I'll get there first!"

Marco exclaimed to the others, transforming into an airborne phoenix and soaring ahead.

"Burgess, the last grudge – this time, I'm settling the score with you!"

After dodging Whitebeard's attack, Burgess quickly turned to face Marco, who was ready to strike. He immediately assumed a defensive stance.

"Hmph, that won't work!"

Marco focused the Phoenix's flames on his feet and then coated them with Haki.

Marco rushed in at lightning speed and delivered a swift kick to Burgess.

The impact sent Burgess flying several meters, leaving deep imprints in the ground from Burgess's feet.

In addition, the blue flames on both of Badges' arms continued to hurt him, making him a little bit painful.

"Ugh, what's this?" Burgess frowned.

"It's the never-ending flame, said to have limitless healing power, but i don't know it can also be used for attacks"

Shiryu of Rain remarked , a bit taken aback.

"I only have business with Blackbeard. This doesn't concern you. If you walk away now, we won't chase after you"

Marco told Shiryu and the others.

As Whitebeard's four ships slowly approached, Blackbeard crew couldn't help but feel a sense of unease in their hearts.

Although following Blackbeard at the beginning, they were extremely excited, thinking that Blackbeard is a person who can help them achieve their dreams.

Now, Blackbeard's defeat is inevitable, and he is not invincible as he says he was.

In this situation, some crew are unwilling to give their lives for Blackbeard.

They simply don't want to meet their end here.

"Captain, it looks like we can't sail together any longer."

"Captain, hope fate favours you. All I can do now is pray for you."

"After all, our pirate crew was just a temporary alliance, and it's time to go our separate ways."

Left without backup, they must confront the formidable main forces of the Whitebeard Pirate in this dire situation.

It's expected for the Blackbeard Pirates to slowly disband.

"What? You? I'm your captain, and now you're abandoning me?"

Blackbeard shouted.

"Captain, don't be naive. I believe you'd do the same if you were in our shoes"

Shiryu said calmly.

In the final analysis, these extremely evil pirates, the reason why they followed Blackbeard, is solely because Blackbeard released them from impel down prison.

They were also attracted to the potential of the Dark Fruit and Blackbeard's own ambitions.

But as events unfolded, they doubted whether Blackbeard had a promising future anymore

"Sorry."

After saying this, those individuals were prepared to disband the pirate group and quickly leave here.

"You guys, those damn guys!"

Blackbeard muttered under his breath.

Yet, he understood deep down that everyone gathered out of self-interest, not affection.

Therefore, their abandonment of him might not be very sinful, but it leaves Blackbeard without any reinforcements.

With these powerful allies, they can fight fiercely even in the face of Whitebeard.

"Hahaha, Blackbeard, look at your crew. Is this your ambition? They abandoned you even before the battle began"

Marco suddenly smiled.

At that moment, Whitebeard unleashed a powerful vibration from above, obstructing Shiryu of Rain and the others.

"Whitebeard, what are you doing?" Shiryu of Rain asked immediately.

"Today, I'm here to take down Blackbeard, but as for you, I don't intend to let you off easily"

Whitebeard said casually.

Whitebeard understood that these individuals possessed a certain level of strength, and he was unsure if these people were willing to endure this shame.

So, if he let them go at this time, wouldn't it add trouble to himself in the future?

If these people seek refuge in Kaido's or Big Mom's pirate groups, Whitebeard would face added difficulty dealing with them in the future.

Hence, Whitebeard wouldn't do anything foolish, and he wouldn't underestimate these people, let alone allow them on his own ship.

Although they have decent strength, their lack of loyalty to their comrades is clear. Whitebeard doesn't need such individuals as his sons.

"Damn it, Whitebeard, you're still aiming to wipe us out!"

Shiryu of Rain said in frustration.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you. Just don't resist. However, if you do, it won't change anything; it'll only make your suffering worse"

Whitebeard said with indifference.

Hearing Whitebeard's words, Shiryu and the others hesitated, refraining from impulsive actions, and began to discuss among themselves.

"What do we do now? Whitebeard said he won't kill us, but he won't let us leave. What's he planning to do with us?"

Burgess asked panicky.

"I think Whitebeard just wants to separate us, so that we can be dispersed, make it easier for him to handle us, and on the contrary, if we unite, there might be a slim chance of survival"

Shiryu of Rain started to envision the worst outcome. He believed Whitebeard intended to kill them eventually, but revealing it upfront would only provoke resistance from them

Upon hearing Shiryu's analysis, everyone fell silent, and internal debates about what to do started brewing in their hearts.

Joining forces with Blackbeard undoubtedly improves their chances of winning, but failure would likely result in their death.

However, if they stay out of it, they'll be left waiting for death when Blackbeard is defeated and Whitebeard turns his attention to them.

Yet, there's a chance Whitebeard might actually release them, but with certain conditions attached.

In this situation, making the right choice is undeniably crucial—it's a matter of life and death.

"We need to make the right choice; otherwise, there won't be anyone make it out alive,"

Burgess said to everyone.

Meanwhile, the ships of the Whitebeard Pirate Group arrived at the pier, and the crew quickly disembarked.

"Everyone, surround them. Don't let them escape," Marco ordered.

As a result, the members of the Whitebeard Pirate encircled the remnant of the Blackbeard pirates crew.

"Marco, why don't we just deal with them?" Jozu and others approached and inquired.

Marco stood at the forefront and stated: "Pops' goal is Blackbeard. If these people don't resist, we don't need to do anything."

"So, it's like this. That's a relief. I thought starting a battle with one of the Four Emperors would be earth-shattering. I didn't expect it to be so simple and easy"

Charles Vane remarked suddenly.

After all, they've endured rigorous training for a while, and now is the moment to put themselves to the test.
