Kapitel 124: Dessert before dinner (3)

CAT 

I meet Bianca at the coffee shop a few blocks away from the De Santi mansion. She's a few minutes late and is out of breath when she finally rushes in. 

"There you are, I'm sorry I'm late. I had to referee a battle over who deserves which toy plane—and get this, both planes are identical. One just has a little scratch on its propeller." 

I chuckle as she tiredly slumps into the chair opposite mine. "They're adorable." 

"Unless they're trying to tear the house down. I swear, they drive me crazy sometimes." She takes off her goggles. "Are you in the mood for anything? I know you said you've already had your breakfast but maybe a snack or a second cup of coffee?" 

I don't usually turn down coffee but I'm not sure I can stomach anything right now. 

"I'll just have some water." 

She waves me off. "How about we do something else and have lunch later? I was hoping you'd accompany me to shop for an outfit."
