"…Let's make the contract then." Adam sighed. She agreed and there was no point in thinking further. He wrote up the contract and gave it to Celestine. And with no regard to the words written on the paper, she signed.
"Thank you for your mercy, My Lord. Your lowly subjects will never forget it." She bowed her head deeply, with no questions about the contract and what it entailed.
She didn't know whether he'd help her or not. After all, Adam had been unable to run her through the strict rules that bound him to help, but she was already past the point of hearing about them.
"Also don't call me that," Adam felt awkward being addressed this way.
Many had looked at him in fear, anger, or even lust, but not with devotion like Celestine, he never had any followers since his power didn't stem from faith like other gods. He never had any plans for it, as he didn't want to be linked with the people of that world in any way. So, to be addressed this way was a first, and he didn't like it.
"What may I call your esteemed self?" And if he didn't put a sock in it, this was surely to get weirder with time.
"My name is Adam. So, you can use that."
"Thank you for your generosity …Adam," Thankfully, she followed his words quickly.
"Good, now about how I will save your empire." He had a plan but he would need her help as the High Queen. The way he thought of was the best way to go about it, as there could be only one condition per contract.
With Celestine leaving the contract in his hands and showing this level of trust, he wanted to help her to the best he could. So, the condition he set was 'Save Eostia from destruction'. The term was quite vague, but the methods he could use also increased as a result. Of course, the one paying for the contract had no idea about it.
"I will follow your words without question." And the current state of Celestine was very questionable. Even then Adam didn't mind, he could think about this later as for now it was better to move the subject before it went in a weird direction.
"Then how about wearing something that covers your body more?" He suggested, snapping his fingers to get rid of the empty plates and cups on the table. She had finished everything without leaving a single crumb.
"I shall do so. If there is something Adam wants me to wear please tell me." Celestine's green eyes shined.
"I don't think you can go wrong with any type of dress." His eyes still swam around the room to avoid the excessive jiggle of her ample bosom.
"...Thank you for your kind words." But her enthusiasm was somewhat deterred by the compliment.
'Did her ears just flutter?' Adam blinked as Celestine stared at the floor. Her actions were similar to a young woman rather than matching her age.
At the time, he had no idea what type of situation he had dipped his toes in. As the God who could see the fate of every existence, has never once looked into his own.

Main Church of Goddess Larentia, Capital of Eostia.
The land that is to be protected by the Seven Shield Alliance, the dwelling of the woman said to be the reincarnation of the Goddess, the hope of the Empire. A place that shouldn't be reached as it was in the heart of the Empire, protected by the strongest sword masters in the realm.
'This war is practically finished.' Yet now there stood the evilest man to grace the world. His tactics were wicked and the lowest of the low, but they worked because he had the ability and resources in his hand that could turn good men into scum like himself.
'Men would rush like hungry wolves to get a piece of her.' He knew that no man could ever reject his offer, and now he was about the get his most prized jewel. With this, no one would ever be able to oppose him and all men will support his reign. Nothing can stop the Sex Empire now!
"Not happening," Vult, the leader of the Black Dog Mercenaries flinched when a white-haired man appeared next to Celestine Lucross.
Even the nuns and other members of his army were shocked still, all but one. Vult rushed forward, swinging the claymore in his hands with all of his might.
—KKRRrnNNKkk!
But without reaching its target, the claymore brushed against a golden barrier that surrounded the man.
"This shirt is a gift so no more attacks," His eyes glowed like magma, but his words had no fluctuations.
'I have to kill him now!' Vult was bathed in sweat. But unlucky for him human body is not capable of making the initial action, to perform an action the mind needs to think of it, all actions are a form of reaction based on the situation the body is in.
'W-What?!' Vult's body struck the ground in that instant. At this moment, he had no control over his body. Watching him fall like this, the other mercenaries—who now called themselves knights—rushed forward to help him.
"King!"
"You! What did you do?"
"Ya fucking bastard!! We'll chop you to pieces!!" Some hot-headed ones rushed to attack Adam.
And they too met the same fate as Vult. All of them collapsed to the floor like puppets without strings. The nuns behind the man shrieked in horror, but some of them were relieved to see these men fall.
Their lust-filled eyes had been on them since they came in, and they knew what was happening all over the Empire. They all wished for death before they were ripped of their purity by these brutes.
"There is no need to fear my children, we have been saved." Thankfully, Celestine's words brought them much-needed assurance as they eyed the white-haired man.
This was the man who saved them and the one they worshiped, they had heard what the leader of these brutes wanted to do to Celestine. And he saved them, where he came from didn't matter, this act alone was enough for their eternal gratitude and they did not hide it.
'God bless you.'
'Thank you, truly Thank you.'
'They are calm, unlike these lot.' Adam's eyes focused back on the men sprawled across the beautiful bluish tiles.
'W-What is happening Boss?'
'A-Ah, I can't move.'
'B-Boss help it is all dark!'
Their voice laced with fear rang in his ears, but it did not change much for him. He focused his mind on the leader as he was the important one.
'W-What is happening? All of my senses… my body isn't working… NO! Why?!' And he seemed the most fearful out of everyone.
He may have been called the King of Mercenaries because of his battle prowess. It was this power that got him the commission to hunt down the Dark Empress for the church, and this was the power that propelled him to great heights when he used it along with tricks to get more men and monsters on his side.
Everything he had was built upon his power and his ability to plan. So, he was nothing without that power, and the reason he lost that power was because…
'You have sinned.' Adam's voice rang into Vult's head.
'You! It's you!' If he could speak his voice may have thundered through the entire Church.
'No, it is you. Your sins are the reason you are like this.' Adam answered.
'Sins? Are you talking about what I did? How is that related?' He still couldn't understand it.
'Ever heard of the Seven Deadly Sins? Why do you think they are called that?' Adam asked standing in his place.
'Hell if I care.' Vult answered, that his current predicament was more important to him.
'Well, normally these are seen as acts where you stray away from God. But I have a different view of them as I hold the title of a Judge.' Adam tried to ignore the eyes of admiration from the Nuns and walked towards the collapsed Vult.
'What… do you want?'
