Standing in front of the bedroom door, Aki was on the verge of losing his mind. The shoes at the door, scattered clothes and underwear in the living room, and this questionable yet alluring scent made his body tremble. All of this led him down a path he didn't want to think of.
'It has to be the dog, Yeah! The dog!' So, his mind came up with a delusion to help him escape from the reality in front of his eyes.
Why? He had no idea. Things haven't been clear to him since last night. Unknowingly, he held these feelings in his heart all along because he wasn't aware that he could. But the moment he realized these feelings, he had no way of acting upon them.
That is why he tried to run away, but the grip on his mind and body tightened. Then it all came crashing down on him like a house of cards.
"Ahn~! Adam~! Yes~!!! Deeper~! Hnghh~~!!" Moans were heard from beyond the door. There was a sudden thud on the wall beside the door like someone was pinned against it.
With each passing second more pleasure filled the voice as gasps broke out, the bell-like voice kept on chanting a single name like a broken record. And soon it reached a crescendo that shook him out of his daze. And then it happened again, and again, and again as he stood there. There was not a moment of respite for the two.
It was like everything was against him, the moment he understood these feelings, it was too late. Makima was long gone. She was swiped by another man who came later than him, while he was too focused on his revenge. And his attempt to run away was also denied by the cruel reality.
'I…don't know…' Hearing the elated moans that belonged to Makima, Aki was not sure about what to do. His mind had been pushed to the brink in an instant.

Aki had no idea what he was doing, or where he was at this point. All he knew was that some time had passed since he had heard Makima's voice.
"Hey, Where'd ya go to? I am dying of hunger!" Then he was shaken by a displeased individual, focus returned to his eyes and he found Denji. His eyes took in the familiar place that was his home, having no idea about how he got here he just stood there, as the voice from before kept ringing in his ears reminding him of what he had witnessed.
"Oh! He came with the lunch! But the Dog is too small, so only I will be able to eat." Power exclaimed looking at Mochi in his hands. She was unaware of what was going on in Aki's mind, and from the looks of it, she couldn't care less. Food was more important to her.
"Why would ya even eat a dog?!" Denji was disgusted but she ignored him. Her predatory eyes focused on Mochi who was wagging his tail. He had no idea of the possible danger he was in, but there was no need for him to worry. His identity was enough to protect him.
"This is Miss Makima's pet dog Mochi. We have to take care of him till she comes back." Aki said absentmindedly. And there was no need for more words as Power flinched as soon as Makima was mentioned.
"What? Still gonna eat it?" Denji smirked cockily. It didn't need to be spelled out, but she would not mess with Makima's pet, no one would. But looking at that annoying expression, Power shrugged her shoulders.
"Why would I eat it? Didn't ya know I am a vegetarian?" She appeared to be deeply offended by the comment. And anyone else might believe her because of convincing her innocent appearance was.
"You had 30 plates of horse sashimi last night!" But it was all just an act, and he knew it because they lived together. Even then Denji's words went in Power's right ear and out the left.
He just scoffed at her and turned his attention back to Mochi. He was fascinated by the dog, mainly because it belonged to Makima, someone who also called him a dog that belonged to her. But the fact this was an actual dog increased his curiosity.
'Does he smell like her? What does it eat? Does she feed him like she did to me?' Denji's eyes were fixed on clueless Mochi, he was moving around the hall curiously knocking over a few things to play.
But this didn't last long, Denji's stomach rumbled like a storm. Because of Mochi, he had forgotten about lunch altogether. So, he rushed to Aki so he could get an answer.
"Should we order?" He asked and all he got in return was a nod, it was weird.
Normally, Aki would blow his ear off about ordering food, but today he seemed out of it. He was seated in the living room, staring at the white wall without uttering a single word, even with the house in a mess as Power was running wild in hunger.
"Whatever, time to empty his wallet." Denji bared his fangs. Pulling the flyer out of the drawer he dialled the number to the closest restaurant getting it wrong twice before it finally connected to the place, but as he was about to order, Power rushed over and tackled him.
"I want horse sashimi!!" Her voice boomed through the house or maybe the floor. Denji faced her and tilted his head, his confusion was clear.
"Weren't ya a vegetarian?" Hearing that Power just stared at him for a second, and then with no changes in her expression her lips moved.
"I never said that. Why are you lying?"
"You are the lair!!" Denji didn't understand how she could get away with this, but that was the thing. She always got away with it.
"Who are ya calling a lair? Did I go too easy on you Minion 1?" And the two fought like cats and dogs. Without Aki breaking it up, the conflict escalated quickly, to the point that they nearly destroyed the house.
Meanwhile, the guy taking the order had to hear their shouts for a full minute before he hung up. Denji became too preoccupied with the squabble to continue the order, so there was no choice.
'We don't sell Horse Sashimi or vegetarian food.' He sighed hoping to not get calls from such troublesome customers. Only for him to get the call again in the next few minutes, and he had to sit through another verbal spat between the two.
It was a tough day for many people.
