Kapitel 44: Good Impression

Standing in the middle of the kitchen as they prepared lunch, Selena raised a brow at Ivy when it dawned on her that she wasn't there to assist Ivy but was the one preparing the meal.

"Why am I the one doing the cooking when it's your boyfriend we are expecting?" Selena asked, and Ivy grinned.

"Because we both know you cook best, and I want to impress him," Ivy said with a wink.

"If I do it now, what happens when he tastes your actual meal and decides he doesn't like it? You shouldn't be trying so hard to impress him," Selena said, and Ivy sighed.

"But I'm here doing the cooking with you, and I don't intend to tell him I made the meal anyway, so don't worry. I just want to impress him by having a nice meal prepared for him. It doesn't matter who prepared it as long as it's homemade," Ivy said, and Selena rolled her eyes.

"I'm only going to do this because I have nothing better to do at the moment," Selena said as she went about taking out all the items she needed.
