"Tony..."
"Tony..."
"Tony..."
Colonel Rhodey, who rushed to Tony's house in response to Pepper's distress call, shouted Tony's name loudly. Seeing the living room turned into a mess with a collapsed Baymax on the floor confirmed the gravity of the situation.
(●─●) "Sir, the old master has moved to the underground garage."
Prompted by Baymax, Rhodey hurried down the stairs to the garage, where he found Tony Stark lying on the ground.
"Tony! Tony, are you okay?" Rhodey quickly approached to assess the situation.
"I'm fine. Go protect Pepper. I've involved her in this mess." Tony, still weak, could only weakly grip Rhodey's arm and spoke earnestly.
"Don't worry, she's fine. Pepper is currently with five agents, preparing to arrest Obadiah."
Tony's expression instantly turned grim. "Five people may not be enough. I hope Nini can hold on a little longer..."
Saying that, Tony, with Rhodey's support, forced himself to stand up. Pepper was in a precarious situation, and he had to step up.
"This is the coolest thing I've ever seen!" Nearby, watching Tony change into the Mark III suit, Rhodey couldn't help but envy.
"Not bad, huh? It's time to get started!" Tony finished suiting up, walked off the changing platform, and closed the helmet visor.
"Do you need any more help?" Rhodey asked.
"Clear the skies for me!" Tony said, and without even going through the garage passage, he burst through the hole in the ceiling that he had made during the Mark II experiment.
"That's awesome!" Rhodey's eyes gleamed with admiration.
...
On the other side, Mark, fully engrossed in developing the building control system in his new company's laboratory, was suddenly interrupted by the urgent alarm from his pocket.
The alarm bell pulled Mark's attention away from his research. He took out his phone and saw the urgent situation alert on the screen, realizing that Obadiah had targeted his dad.
Unknown to Tony, the gift Mark gave him not only provided a life-saving opportunity but also allowed Mark to detect any sudden situation Tony encountered and help him deal with the crisis.
In this case, when Obadiah forcibly dismantled the Arc Reactor, cutting off its power as an electromagnet, it immediately recorded the occurrence of abnormal conditions and sent an alarm signal to Mark.
Upon receiving the alarm, Mark hastily saved his unfinished work on the computer, preparing to rush back and help. However, he awkwardly realized that he didn't have a driver's license or a car at the moment, and even Baymax was not by his side, so he had no way to return home in time.
Mark quickly picked up his phone and called Magneto, "Magneto! Magneto! Quickly change to surveillance equipment and go check on my dad."
As soon as Mark gave the command, the components in the dormant box in the room sprang into action. Two magnetic axles above Magneto's head detached, and the components inside the box, carrying a surveillance camera, were ejected and magnetically connected to Magneto's head.
After assembly, the dormant box automatically opened. Magneto flipped out of the box and silently sneaked into the living room.
Meanwhile, on Mark's phone screen, the clear footage appeared as Magneto arrived in the living room. The image showed Obadiah smugly leaving the mansion with the Arc Reactor, while Tony collapsed on the couch.
"Oh no! I shouldn't have used that thing to prank Obadiah back then." Seeing Tony's condition, Mark immediately recognized that it was the result of his own invention.
"I need to contact Uncle Rhodey immediately for help. Magneto's magnetic axle servo system can't handle heavy objects like the Arc Reactor."
Just as Mark was about to make the call, Baymax appeared timely by Tony's side, relieving Mark's worries. "Creating Baymax was indeed the smartest decision I made. But Obadiah, you old scoundrel, you're really bad. Since you refuse to behave, I'll send you flying comfortably!"
Mark closed the surveillance footage transmitted by Magneto and opened a pink interface. It displayed only a map and a red locator dot, indicating its position near Stark Industries.
"It seems Pepper is still going after Obadiah with Coulson. Fortunately, she didn't forget to bring Nini with her. Let's see how I deal with you, you old scoundrel!"
The interface Mark accessed was actually the location interface of Nini, the all-purpose personal assistant he gave to Pepper. And the reason for adding this positioning system to Nini was, of course, for transmitting special components!
"The battle suit I customized for Nini is much more thoughtful than Baymax's. Enjoy it, Obadiah!"
With that, Mark tapped the confirmation button on the phone screen. At the same time, a lawn outside the Stark Mansion suddenly rose, revealing a deep and mysterious opening underneath.
Boom!
A sudden burst of flames illuminated the night sky as a black figure soared into the sky, leaving behind a long trail of fire. Its destination was Stark Industries.
...
At Stark Industries, Pepper, under the protection of Coulson and four other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents had infiltrated Sector 16 secretly established by Obadiah.
After passing through a dark area and arriving at the center, a mighty suit of armor appeared before them. "Looks like you were right; he made a suit," Coulson remarked.
"I thought it would be bigger..." Pepper couldn't help but feel that the suit was different from what she saw in the copied data today.
Unbeknownst to them, the suit before them was merely Mark I, the prototype that Obadiah used. The true Iron Monger suddenly appeared behind them with a bang!
"Ah!" Pepper shouted in fear at the massive size and menacing appearance of Iron Monger.
The pink suitcase in her hand received the signal and immediately began flashing lights. Nini was swiftly released. "Nini senses that master is in danger. Switching to Guardian mode."
