Althea held the cup against her lips as she took a warm sip.

The camp fire warm against her skin as she thought about what may be going on in Elodonia now.

She looked into the darkness and wondered where Fiona had gone to. She wanted to apologize for everything, for being naive, it was because of her Ariana died.

They may not have been close friends, but they were close enough to have the same goal.

Never to go back to the life they once lived.

Althea did not want to go back to her mother. Ariana did not want to go back to being a prostitute. Fiona did not want to go back to being a slave to a painter.

We do not want to go back with no memories.

The only person that got a happy ending was Heather and Olivia.

Now she was stuck. In a desert. With little people who were struggling to get by and did not need another mouth to feed.
