Yukari jolted awake, her body drenched in sweat, as she let out a piercing scream. She had just experienced the most terrifying nightmare of her life. In her dream, she witnessed her beloved mother trapped in a void of darkness, devoid of any signs of life. Her mother sat there, huddled in despair, her arms wrapped tightly around her legs.
Filled with fear and desperation, Yukari rushed towards her mother, yearning to offer comfort and solace. However, her attempts to touch her mother were met with resistance, as if an invisible barrier separated them.
She pleaded fervently for her mother's presence, her voice echoing through the empty void. Gradually, her mother's weeping ceased, and she turned her gaze towards Yukari, her eyes becoming clear and filled with love.
With a tender touch against Yukari's cheek, her mother uttered the words, "I love you, Yukari. I'll be waiting for you." As Yukari desperately called out for her mother, begging her not to leave, her mother slowly faded away, disappearing into nothingness. Yukari continued to call out, tears streaming down her face, but her mother was gone, leaving her alone and yearning for her presence.
Yukari woke up in a state of distress, her body covered in cold sweat, as she couldn't shake off the terrifying image of her trapped mother from her mind. Concern for her mother's well-being consumed her thoughts, and she whispered, "I hope you're safe, mother. Please wait for me."
Feeling the weight of loneliness and its impact on her mental health, Yukari acknowledged that being alone was taking its toll. Determined to find solace, she decided to visit Yumi, her faithful bunny. The thought of being in Yumi's presence brought a sense of comfort and relief to her troubled mind.
As she contemplated the approaching harvest time, when the planet's natural energy would be depleted, a mischievous smile crept across Yukari's face. "It's time to shake things up and clear my mind," she declared, her determination shining through.
With a touch of excitement, she entertained the idea of facing the strongest being in the world, envisioning herself triumphing over them. "I'm going to make them my bitch," she chuckled, relishing the thought of her opponent being stumped by her. "Yes, this is a great idea," she affirmed, eager to clear her mind from her inner turmoil.
Yukari stepped through her familiar purple portal, its jagged edges a sign of her unique connection to it. As she arrived in front of the majestic God Tree, she sought solace and assurance for Yumi's well-being. "I'm back, Yumi," she greeted, her voice filled with a mix of relief and concern.
"I had a frightening dream where Mom was trapped in darkness all alone. That's why I've decided to challenge the strongest person on this planet, to clear my mind."
Yumi, with her childlike voice, responded, "Okay, Momma, stay safe." A moment of confusion washed over Yukari as she heard another voice besides her own. "I think I might be losing my sanity. I'm hearing voices that aren't my own," she exclaimed, questioning her own perception.
However, Yumi reassured her eagerly, "No, Mommy, you're not going insane. It's me, Yumi. I have evolved and grown stronger. I can even speak now."
A radiant smile adorned Yukari's face as she realized the truth. "That's wonderful, sweetie!" she exclaimed, her heart filled with joy. "From now on, I will make sure to visit you every day so we can talk."
After conversing with Yumi and gaining insights from Halhard's memories, Yukari found herself floating in the air, contemplating her next move. She delved into Halhard's recollections and discovered that the strongest being in the world was none other than a formidable dragon.
A century ago, this dragon had brought chaos and destruction wherever it went, driven by an insatiable desire to amass all the treasures of the world.
Yukari couldn't help but find the creature intriguing. However, she couldn't help but express her disdain for the creatures in her own world, such as the ugly toads and slugs that harnessed natural energy.
"Why on earth do we have those repulsive creatures instead of a majestic dragon?" she pondered, a touch of disgust evident in her voice.
Before her, a portal materialized, revealing the path to the dragon's lair. Utilizing Halhard's memories, she could teleport to her desired destinations instead of enduring long journeys.
Halhard's extensive knowledge had mapped out the entire world, granting Yukari the ability to traverse its vast expanse effortlessly.
A massive cave was visible in front of a mountain. Yukari emerged from a portal. She was humming and smiling, knowing she was going to have a good time drop kicking this dragon. "What a huge cave!" I suppose the dragon's size cannot be underestimated. "Unfortunately for you, mister dragon, my Susanoo is bigger," she said in awe.
"I'm not sure how I should go about getting its attention. Should I set fire to the cave or drown it with water?" she pondered. A deafening roar broke Yukari's concentration. "I guess nothing," she said as she wiped her ears with her finger. "Sheesh, what a loud roar!" she exclaimed.
Yukari looked up to see a dragon emerge from the cave, towering over her with scaly skin and sharp claws. The beast's eyes glowed red in the dim lighting of the cave, and its wingspan stretched to incredible lengths. Its body was covered in red runes and symbols, giving off an ominous aura as it roared once more. Despite the dragon's size, Yukari remained unfazed, staring at it with deadfish eyes.
"Who dares to disturb me," a feminine voice said. Yukari was taken aback by its voice; it sounded majestic, almost angelic. "You have such a lovely voice," Yukari exclaimed. She blushed in embarrassment, knowing she had unconsciously talked aloud due to being alone for so long, it has became a habit.
Quickly recovering her composure, Yukari pointed at the dragon, attempting to regain her image. "Forget what I said. I've come here to fight you," she declared with determination. The dragon chuckled dismissively, seemingly amused by the human's audacity.
However, upon closer inspection, the dragon noticed something peculiar and even beautiful about the person standing before her. Turning her attention back to Yukari, the dragon's demeanor shifted.
"You, a human, dare to challenge me?" she sneered, her voice laced with contempt. "You're just like those foolish mortals, coveting my treasures."
Feigning offense, Yukari laughed in response. "Oh, please! I have no interest in your treasures," she retorted, rolling her eyes. "I don't need mortal luxuries." Before she could continue, flames were launched toward her, prompting Yukari to activate her Byakugan, enhancing her vision.
"Tch, I was talking, lizard!" she yelled in annoyance. Infusing wind chakra into her finger, she swiftly slashed through the incoming flames. The wind slash effortlessly cleaved through the fiery onslaught, preventing them from reaching her.
As the winds picked up within the cave, scattering loose rocks and debris, Yukari couldn't help but smirk. "Still got it," she remarked with a sense of pride, knowing her skills hadn't waned.
