Kapitel 72: Century of Blood

Because of the power vacuum left by the Doom, the Dothraki came from the east and the grasslands of central Essos exploded into war. Acting on the advice given by his mother Doshi, Khal Mengo united the sixty khalasars and focused on the west. The Tall Men of the Kingdom of Sarnor ignored the threat the Dothraki posed, instead attempting to use them in their own wars. Mengo accepted all the Tall Men offered in return for his help, but took the lands they had conquered as well. The fields, farms and towns were burned, and so these lands returned to the wild state they had once had.

The khalasar of Khal Moro, Mengo's son, destroyed Sathar, slew its men, and took its women and children to be sold as slaves. Kasath and Gornath both claimed Sathar's ruins, which resulted in conflict between the two Sarnori cities. Six years following Sathar's destruction, Kasath was destroyed as well, and Gornath followed a dozen years later.

Following that was there thirst grew ans decided to attack holy cities of Ancient God's.

As the Kingdom of Uru trembled under the assault of the Khal and his raiders, hope seemed to wane. But they continued to pray to there God Eru for survival and help.

Just as despair began to settle, a thunderous boom echoed through the air. Ares, the god of war, descended from the heavens, hurtling towards the battlefield with unmatched power.

The ground quaked as Ares made his landing, his impact sending shockwaves rippling through the earth.

Ares' hair is shoulder length and he has a short, well-groomed beard that accentuates his strong jawline.

Ares wore imposing armor, often adorned with rams and other symbols of war.

He is strong, intimidating, and always ready for battle.

With a swift motion, Ares retrieved a baton from behind, an unassuming cylinder that held untapped potential. As his divine touch graced the baton, it burst into a fiery red glow, transforming before the onlookers' eyes. The once-simple cylinder with a surge of power, the mace sparked to life, glowing and burning with a fiery intensity. The flanges themselves seemed to pulsate with an ethereal energy, casting a vibrant light on Ares' determined face. As he swung the mace through the air, arcs of fire trailed in its wake.

Ares unleashed a thunderous roar, channeling his divine might into the weapon. With each strike, the mace generated shockwaves that rippled outward, knocking back his adversaries with an explosive force. The shockwaves rippedled through the ranks of the Dothraki warriors like a force of nature.

Khal Moro's Dotharki Khalasar, caught off guard by the sheer power of the shock waves from the mace swings, struggled to maintain their footing.

The mounted warriors, armed with arakhs and curved bows tried to fight back, but the sharp edges of their arakhs could not even leave a scratch on Ares' skin, and their curved bows proved futile as their arrows shattered upon impact with his skin or armour.

Also the shockwaves generated by Ares' mighty swings wreaked havoc among the Dothraki ranks, causing arrows to veer off course or shatter mid-flight. The ground trembled beneath the force of his assaults, sending mounted warriors tumbling from their horses and scattering their ranks like leaves in the wind.

Ares seized the opportunity, pressing his advantage with relentless fury. He spun and twirled, striking with precision and devastating impact. The flanges on his mace cut through flesh, leaving a trail of broken defenses and wounded bodies in his wake.

As the battle reached its end, Ares momentarily ceased his relentless assault. He clasped the mace's handle with both hands, and the glow intensified, radiating with a blinding brilliance. The ground trembled beneath him as he raised the mace high above his head, channeling the raw power of war itself.

With a resounding crash, Ares brought the mace down, unleashing a cataclysmic shockwave that rippled outward in all directions. The shockwave tore through the enemy lines, knocking warriors off their feet and scattering them like leaves in a storm. The sheer force of the blast left craters in the ground, evidence of Ares' devastating prowess.

As the dust settled, Ares relaxed his grip on the mace, allowing it to revert back to its compacted form—a small, unassuming cylinder. The glow faded, and the weapon appeared dormant once more. Ares surveyed the battlefield, his enemies disarrayed and demoralized.

The god of war, a figure of both awe and terror, stood tall amidst the chaos, his flanged mace now sheathed at his side.

As Ares observed the retreating Khalasar, a sinister smirk crossed his lips. "It seems it is time to release those sandworms in Essos," he muttered to himself. With a confident gesture, he pressed his hands into the desert ground, sending tremors rippling through the sands.

As the sun beat down on the desert sands, casting long shadows across the dunes, a sense of unease hung in the air. Suddenly, a disturbance rippled through the landscape, like a serpent slithering beneath the surface of a tranquil pond. The Dothraki riders thought they were safe, but there present leader felt something off, but before they could react, chaos erupted.

Without warning, a colossal sandworm burst forth from the dunes, its massive form dwarfing the riders before it. The ground trembled beneath its immense weight as it surged forward with terrifying speed, swallowing whole swathes of the Khalasar in its gaping maw. The air filled with the deafening hiss of the sandworm as it plowed through the desert, leaving behind a tidal wave of sand in its wake.

The leader of the Dothraki, a hardened veteran of countless battles, stared in disbelief at the monstrous creature before him. With a mixture of shock and fear etched upon his face, he yelled in Dothraki language, "Move, go faster!"

commanding his warriors to spur their mounts into a frenzied gallop, their hooves kicking up clouds of sand in their frantic bid for escape. But their efforts were futile, for the sandworm, like an ancient behemoth awakened from its slumber, surged forth with unstoppable force.

With a deafening roar that echoed across the desert plains, the sandworm erupted from the ground in a cataclysmic display of power. Its massive jaws opened wide, consuming the hapless Khalasar in a single gulp, their screams drowned out by the thunderous roar of the creature.

As the sandworm's cavernous maw rose from the desert floor like a nightmare come to life, Ares watched with cold satisfaction.

With a gesture of command, Ares ordered the sandworms to spare the remaining survivors of the Khalasar. As the monstrous creatures receded into the depths of the desert, leaving behind a scene of devastation, the last remnants of the Dothraki were left shaken but alive.

The tales of not just Ares saving City of Uru, but also the sandworms would spread like wildfire across Essos, carried by the survivors of the Dothraki Khalasar.

The legend of the sandworm would be spoken of for generations to come, a testament to his dominance over the desert lands of Essos.
