Although the doors of the shrine were always supposed to remain open during the daylight hours, on Lady Illara's orders, the gates were closed shut to keep away any unexpected guests.

Most devotees would be shocked to see a corpse lying inside the prayer hall and even the skeptics would turn this issue into hot gossip and start spreading rumors all across the city. The High Priestess did not want this matter to leave the walls of the shrine and instructed all her attendants to keep it a closely guarded secret.

While Xander was engrossed in prayer, the Oracle attending the High Priestess spread Leena's arms out and gradually started taking off Leena's clothes, stripping her of her last shred of womanly modesty.
