Kapitel 317: Rapa Nui's Museum

To say Uriel was dumbfounded would be an understatement. He couldn't fathom such a small town surviving through the onslaught of even the weakest cryptids. The buildings were made of wood or concrete, the doors and windows weren't boarded or sealed, but there weren't any battle traces or destruction. If anything, the buildings looked a bit weathered and dirty, but not to the point where he could have guessed the town was abandoned.

"Hello, anybody here?" He knocked on a random door but, just as expected, he received no answer. He went to the next, then the next house, he even tried knocking on a hotel but no one answered.

The town was either abandoned or the people were hiding behind closed doors. Uriel didn't want to disturb the peace in case people were hiding from him, so he decided against bashing a random house door but the hotel was a different matter.
