Kapitel 58: Respect and Love go hand in hand

"I missed you so much, that I would hear your voice whenever I sat alone by myself. I would watch you carrying your regal bearing and scolding people and in the next moment smiling at me. That change of your eyes had captured my heart, my dear Empress, my dear wife, I cannot express how much I love you," the emperor placed his hand on her shoulder, his eyes holding back his tears because for an emperor it was forbidden to cry.

"I am honored that Your Majesty still remember me," the Empress put on a sadistic forced smile and looked away. 

"Don't speak like that...it breaks my heart. Are you blaming me for not visiting you regularly?" He asked, puzzled as to why she was acting differently.

"No, it surprises me though, you came to my palace more often than you did when I wasn't sick. If others learn of this I am afraid the entire Harem shall fall sick," She joked with a pinch of sarcasm.
