The captain could only watch helplessly as the Orcs summoned by the Tier 7 Orc descended upon the city’s barrier like a horde of beasts.

With there every strike, they demonstrated an unwavering determination as if their lives depended on penetrating the barrier.

But despite the continuous trembling their strikes caused , the barrier showed no immediate signs of giving way.

However, the captain knew that the energy of the barrier wouldn’t be able to hold for another hour if this continued.

He felt If the Mid-ranking Orcs or the Tier 7 Orc decided to lend their strength, the barrier would surely collapse within the next thirty minutes.

Even though the captain had spoken confidently about defending the city, the loss of contact with the academy and the inability to call for backup had already planted the seed of escape in his mind if things took a turn for the worse.
