Kapitel 3: Insane Beauty
A Week later, Emotion Palace. " That Woman is here again" said one of the workers, " Why does she keep coming despite knowing our services are poor and things on our menu are highly over priced". The Woman they were talking about was seated at a far corner of the cafe facing the counter, she had a laptop in front of her and seemed to be working seriously on something which made her look more stunning, she had a long black hair which flowed like a waterfall on her back, a nicely shaped eye brows, pink lips and an hour glass figure to die for, but she also had a dangerous aura which seems to be warning people around her not do anything stupid.
This aura was intemedatin to both men and women. The workers here weren't very happy to see her, since this was the seventh time she had been here in a row, and whenever she was here, she spent more than 3 hours, to this workers it was torture because this place was just a "Vacation home" to them, this is why they had bad customer services and insanely high prices for dishes on their Menu, this was all so that they could relax, but the last seven days have been hell, as this beauty will order almost every thing on the menu everyday and not even eat it herself but give it to her employees, This past week has just been hell for them. Luke was seated in front of the counter with his eyes closed in a way which would make one think he's meditating or something.
"Lucy, Status report ", a soothing feminine voice replied " We are at 72 percent, all the ships are ready, 50 of them, but we have a problem with the hyperdrives, they overheat when they are powered, I'm running thousands of configuration to solve that".
"What is the cau..." before Luke could continue, his phone rang which caused him to open his eyes, when he saw the number calling, he could feel a headache coming, he answered " Hello son, when are you going to give me a grandson, you are already 25 years old, do you want me to die" A voice of a woman could be heard with a sobbing voice". The Woman was Lydia, Luke's Mom, and she does this at least twice every month. " Don't worry mom, after my vacation I will marry whoever I see, the moment I walk out of here", after saying this he hang up, though he was joking he thought it was not such a bad idea at all, as he was about to close his eyes again the beautiful Woman seated at the far Corner got up and walked up to him, she stood in front of Luke and with a straight face " Since, you are planning to marry any Woman you see on the streets, Why don't you Marry me". Luke seemed to be in a daze at he looked at the beauty in front of him.
"Are you insane!, Who causally talks to a stranger like that. I don't even know you woman ", replied Luke with a strange expression, " but you said you will marry any Woman you meet on the streets after your vacation, doesn't that sound equally insane" quickly replied the hot beauty.
Luke frowned and muttered in a soft voice "Lucy run a background check on this crazy woman right now". and within a few seconds Information a voice of the insane woman sounded in his mind, whiles his eyes flashed a faint blue colour which could not be seen even if you look straight into his eyes, it was a screen which displayed all information about Beatrice.
She is called Beatrice Smith, the chairwoman of Beauty Foundation, her company is the leading Beauty and cosmetic company in the industry, unknown to the world is she also owns, One heart pharmaceutical which is in no doubt inferior to her Beauty Foundation, she is single and also an orphan, she built her business empire from scratch. She is beautiful and talented, it's not a bad idea at all if you were to marry her, it's like am looking at a female version of you".
Luke was pissed and couldn't careless about what Lucy said, one couldn't blame him because from his perspective, he was just a pretty boy being looked down on by a rich woman. He suddenly smiled and said " Fine I will play your game", he smiled devilishly and said " If you want to get married, why don't we get married today, right now! am ready are you?" , he smiled and teasenly put his elbow on the counter with his jaws resting on it, he had decided to play along and see what she does in a situation like this.
Beatrice frowned as if contemplating on something and then took out her phone and dialed a number " I will be getting to the court in..., how long does it take from here to the court building", She asked looking at Luke who immediately also turned his face toward John, who was enjoying the farce going on, John roughly checked it in his mind since they used that road everyday, "45 minutes I guess", replied John with a Shrug. Beatrice looked at him for a second and then continue " In 45 minutes have a marriage agreement for I and Luke.." She then looked at Luke's face, who replied with a smile and whispered "Luke Archman is the name". Beatrice then told the name to her assistant and said, " you only have 45 Minutes" . She then looked at Luke and smiled " Shall we proceed", Luke replied with a smile and said " After you", but deep down he wanted to see how long this woman can keep this farce going and after this, he will surely pay her back in full, thought Luke as his grin became wide.
