After talking with Dexter, Elliana teleported herself back to her room took a quick shower, and went into the bed to sleep, ensuring she wore the same dress that she was wearing when Mr. Marino left her to not raise any suspicions.

The door of the room opened not long after, and rather than pretending to be asleep, she opened her eyes.

"Mr. Marino, is that you?" She asked, and Sebastian, who didn't expect her to call his name, hummed vaguely.

"Are you already awake, my Cara? How are you feeling now?" He asked, walking to the bed and sitting at the edge to look at her.

"Will you leave again?" She asked instead, a hint of vulnerability in her voice, making him want to hide her from the entire world and never let her out into this cursed environment that would probably want to take her away from him.

With a soft sigh, he shook his head.

"Is something wrong?"

"Can you hold me while I'm asleep?" Elliana blinked her eyes innocently.
