Kapitel 43: Aditya's suspicion

Aditya believed Madeline, but it didn't mean he was a fool. As respectful as she is, anyone could see Madeline was lying to avoid the question. 

The way she was staring back at him to cover her tracks of lying and her fingers drumming on her thighs, everything was a clear signal. She has been acting weird since he found her near that forest.

This is not the first time she has been acting suspicious either. Ever since Elliana returned, her behavior has been strangely questionable.

As far as he knows, Elliana was the one who used to plot against Madeline, and Madeline had to be alert to her surroundings all the time to save herself. That was exactly how she used to counter Elliana's plotting, no? 

In the past, since he used to spend most of his time learning from his elders and preparing himself for the top University, he never thought about it and always believed Madeline because he saw a few patterns like Madeline had told him.
