Kapitel 3: Chapter 3: Class 7

Newgate arrived home and took to the dining room, the smell of alcohol strong in the air as he drank his usual excessive amount.

Still gulping the drink, he remained unaware of the four people making their way to his house until he could feel their presence and instantly stopped.

He notices that one of the four has a very familiar feeling, and he can sense his muscles relaxing and his body becoming less tense as he lets his guard down.

"Wow! Naruto, this is your house? It's so big!" A girl with a bubblegum pink mane yelped beside Naruto and a smoking hot emo boy.

Naruto let out a joyous laugh in response to Sakura's comment, "I have something bigger, Sakura!"

Sakura and the emo boy gazed at Naruto in disbelief and amazement, while their teacher's eyelids snapped open.

"Naruto, where did you learn such words?"

Naruto nervously scratched his scalp before offering a sheepish grin. "Kakashi-sensei, my brother said this once when I said the exact words that Sakura said."

A silent, internal thumbs up was Kakashi's way of honouring Newgate. 'What a talent.'

The emo boy on the side noticed something wrong with the conversation between Naruto and Kakashi.

"Wait, are you saying that you don't even know what you said? Are you that stupid?"

Naruto felt a heat rise to his face at the emo boy's taunting words.

"Huh? I know what it means, stinky Sasuke!"

"Really? Then what does it mean?"

"Why do I have to tell you that?"

"Huh, so you don't even know? No wonder you're the tail crane."

"Since you're so smart, stinky Sasuke. What does it mean?"

Kakashi and Sakura watched with a helpless smile as the two bickered, and Sakura's eyes sparkled as she took Sasuke's side.

Sakura was about to open her mouth to speak when she heard Newgate's hearty laughter as he opened the door.

"Gurararara! Naruto, you actually brought friends."

Naruto felt his face flush as his brother spoke, and he gestured for the three of them to enter.

They looked around the vacant house, and the only sound was their own echoing footsteps. The sounds were a mournful hush that seemed to hang in the air, making the atmosphere depressing.

Sasuke was itching to leave the house, but he stayed because of Kakashi's commitment to helping him become stronger.

Naruto leads them to the dining room, which is filled with empty jugs of alcohol. This time, Newgate had to endure the humiliation of being exposed and cleaned up.

He then took out a variety of cheap goods from the system and laid them on the table, filling the air with their sweet aroma.

"So Kakashi, what's your purpose for visiting? I know it wasn't my brother's idea." Newgate asked, throwing some food into his mouth.

A hint of surprise flashed across Kakashi's eyes as he looked at Newgate.

With an effort of will, he brightens his mood, but his eyes remain as dull as a dead fish.

"Just some bonding with our team to increase teamwork on missions and have a natural connection."

Newgate nodded, but the skepticism was clear in his raised eyebrows and pursed lips.

'Bullshit, he probably wanted to see me, the second son of Minato.' Newgate thought, and rolled his eyes, thinking about it.

Kakashi's face grew warm as he saw Newgate's expression, which made it clear he wasn't convinced by his words.

Newgate didn't take the time to uncover Kakashi and ate some substandard fare given by the system, while Naruto put forth his best effort to woo his first love and failed miserably.

As the sun went down, the four finished their meal with satisfaction, the sound of their laughter still lingering in the air as Kakashi and Sakura said their goodbyes and left.

Newgate said his farewells and stepped out into the woods, the sound of birds chirping in the distance as he began his training.

In the briefest of moments, the day was gone, and the sun rose to signal a new day. The sun was radiating around the house, its cheerful yellow light bouncing off the windows.

Newgate's morning routine was complete, and he stepped out into the woods; the scent of pine needles and damp earth filling his nostrils.

This would be Newgate's first time getting a paycheck in this world after completing the C-ranked mission today. Hiruzen's little welfare support doesn't count.

After his daily training was complete, he washed the sweat from his towering, 10-feet tall, muscular frame in the cool lake.

Newgate leapt from the lake, droplets of water cascading from his body as he hastened to the meeting place.

He was a couple minutes early, so he stood there, listening to the birds chirping in the trees as he waited for the rest to come.

"Newgate!" He heard a voice, soft and melodic, coming from behind him.

Newgate whirled around and heard Tenten's feet pounding against the ground. "Gurararara, looks like I'm not the only one early."

Tenten nodded and drew in a deep breath, the air filling her lungs.

Her face was glowing red, and her fingertips tingled as they brushed the rough, textured bark of the big oak tree.

She quickly regains her breath and looks to Newgate's weapon, the metal glinting in the sun. "What is that tall half staff half sword looking thing?"

Newgate clenched the naginata in his hands and slammed it on the ground, feeling the vibrations of the impact run up his arms. "This is Murakumogiri, one of the twelve supreme blades. The weapon itself is a naginata."

Tenten's eyes sparkled fiercely as she looked at the weapon. "Can I hold it?"

Her hands were twitching, and she couldn't seem to control them, like she had taken some potent stimulant.

Newgate guffawed loudly at such remarks. "Gurararara! If it doesn't crush you. It's nearly 1000 pounds, and I don't think your small body can hold it."

Tenten's eyes widened in shock when she heard this.

1000 pounds is an astonishing amount of weight in this ninja world.

"Umm, never mind." Tenten refused with no hesitation.

1000 pounds. Don't even talk about 100 pounds. She still couldn't hold the naginata at such weight.

The two chatted, and the sound of their laughter was like a comforting embrace. The two were so engaged in a conversation that the atmosphere was sweet and inviting as they spoke of weapons and daily activities.

Three men suddenly appeared with a loud rustling of leaves, taking the two by surprise as they were happily chatting.

"Guy-sensei, Neji, Lee!" Tenten waved at them, standing up from her leaf chair that she had crafted while they were having their passionate discussion.

Neji looked at the two and felt an impulse to rush up and break the two up from each other.

Newgate felt Neji's unfriendly eyes and thought it was because he knocked him out using conqueror's Haki.

"Alright listen up!" Might Guy said, "We have an important mission to do. A businessman who delivers goods to the land of fire has been kidnapped. The mission has increased from C-ranked to B-ranked!"

(A/N: how do people feel about Tenten being the love interest? If not, who?)
